Laxey Cattery

Wonderful Cattery. Staff really friendly and both of our cats are always looked after and come home happy and healthy. What more can you askl for?

My cat is a rescue cat and suffers from fear aggression unfortunately when I went to collect her I heard the daughter tell her mum that she was being collected and the mother replied good she's a horrible cat!. To say I was upset was an under statement when I said to the daughter about it she said well she isn't the nicest of cats! Terrible, I couldn't actually quite believe its felt really awful that my rescue cat had actually to be there whilst they obviously felt so hostile towards her and her predicament, often rescue animals are frightened expecting more possible harm so they do the only thing they can hiss to try to keep ppl away would never leave her with them again....

I chose Laxey cattery for my two boys as they have really great reviews & Jess was really friendly when viewing the cattery.Our flight was delayed by an hour (out of my control) so I messaged the cattery to let them know 4 hours in advance & as soon as I landed I rang them to apologise that I was going to be late & now am on my way to pick up my cats,The cattery was closing at 6.30pm which my problem isn’t that as I understand they are business with set opening times, my problem was when ringing the women on the phone was extremely rude & patronising to me & my mother who ended up having to collect them in the end,She repeatedly said if I cannot get here by 6.30pm then there was no way I could collect my cats, She continued to say “ we have a life & we’ve been busy looking after YOUR cats” “ it’s Friday night” I was only going to be half a hour late & it’s literally says on there website “ we strive to maintain a flexible approach to work around the needs of our clients ” on there opening hours section so I assumed this wouldn’t be a massive problem, she responded “ I don’t know which website your on” .. I believe this women was the manager/owner, who also lives exactly opposite the cattery..All I’m saying is perhaps not be so dam right rude to your customers who pay you a service? Also my cats had never been boarded before so instead of demanding I collect them the next day & be charged for another night show some compassion? They wasn’t eating properly & was told they wasn’t getting on very well so I was concerned for their welfare & didn’t want them staying another night.Will be using a pet sitter for the future, it’s not worth all the bloody stress for the cats & yourself!

Snow is so well looked after here! I have the best confidence in this place and all the staff! He is so loved

Been using this Cattery for years. They take great care of our cat and would not use anyone else.

I have had Taz go to Laxey cattery for some time now Wayne come to pick up my cat and bring him home again. I am very happy with the owner's they are very friendly nice to chat with and helpful.

Laxey Cattery were absolutely fantastic and really helpful.We were in the process of moving house and had to have our 2 cats in the cattery for approximately 3 months which was a huge relief for us because they're only one of the catteries that would accommodate for long term. Every time my family and I visited our cats, there was someone seeing to them. The staff are really friendly and attentive. We could not recommend more and will be using the service again in the future.Kind regardsMark & Sammy x
