Advanced Hypnotherapy Holmfirth

I'd been suffering on an off with anxiety & depression for years and had seemingly exhausted all different types of treatments over that time. As a last resort, I came across hypnotherapy. So I started researching local therapists. My first experience was not a positive one to say the least. After further research, I came across Andy and I have to say, he has made such a positive impact on my quality of life. After 3 sessions with him, my anxiety has all but gone and he has given me the tools/understanding I need in order to manage my emotions. I couldn't believe how he changed in 3 weeks what myself, other practitioners and other services have not been able to achieve in many years. I absolutely would recommend Andy to anyone. I am sure like myself, he will exceed your expectations.

I have struggled with my weight most of my life and after seeing Andy I have managed to get out of bad habits and quickly seen an improvement in my weight and mental health. After my first 2 sessions I had lost around 7lbs. My mindset is a lot more positive and I have lots of motivation to do things I normally wouldn’t do. 10/10 would recommend

I went to see Andy to improve my golf performance. He managed to lower my handicap from a 28, which I’d had for over 20 years, down to a 20. What I found amazing, was that I’d only practiced mentally in the 1 to 1 session. Then as soon as I started playing at the club, I’d improved so much. I went to see Andy for help with confidence whilst doing public speaking and interviews, something I was petrified of. I had 3 sessions with Andy and it has completely changed my whole mindset. I feel relaxed and confident in situations I would have previously really struggled with. He also helped my son deal with some anxiety issues very successfully. I admit to being somewhat sceptical about hypnotherapy as a concept, but having been struggling with my weight, and after reading other reviews, I decided to give it a go. Andy is very professional, easy to talk to and to discuss the reasons why I am overweight without embarrassment and what coping strategies I can employ. Success of a 4lb loss in the first week without even really being aware of trying! Another 2lbs the following week, and I am still loosing steadily without 'dieting' and changing my attitude to food and portion size. Thank you Andy.

I highly recommend Andy Holmes, he is professional and put my elderly father at ease. My 72 year old father has been diagnosed with vascular disease, he was referred to a specialist unit but been told he must stop smoking as they won't treat a current smoker. Our doctor thought hypnosis might help him with stopping smoking. He's been smoking 20 a day for many, many years. He had one session with Andy, who explained will power is also needed. My dad hasn't had a cigarette since, he says he hasn't found stopping difficult and is already feeling the benefits to his health. I can't thank Andy enough, hopefully this will improve my fathers quality of life immensely.

I booked a block of 3 session's to see Andy for weight loss, since my first session i have not touched or even been tempted to eat anything sweet, i'm heating healthy now and feel so much better for it, losing over a stone in the first couple of weeks. I cannot recommend Andy highly enough, this is my first time at hypnosis and was a bit sceptical about it but he totally put me at ease with his very warm and kind personality and being totally understanding. Andy Holmes is an excellent Hypnotherapist and all round positive and professional guy. I had been biting my nails for 25 year + and Im 38. I stopped biting them after 1 session and its been roughly 7 weeks.I went for 5 sessions for various things. We all go to the gym to improve our bodies, tone up, build muscle. We all buy books to educate ourselves but what most of us don’t do is try and change our thinking to a state of positivity and well being. I decided to do just that with Andy and he has helped me, get up earlier, hit the gym and in all seriousness get more focussed with work.
