Kelvingrove Park
I found myself here while on a vacation when I wanted a sense of nature in Glasgow. There is a ton here: tree-lined trails, several statues, a couple playgrounds, skate park, flower beds, ducks on the river, and miles of paved trails. I was here for over half the morning and both relaxed and walked a few miles.

Kelvingrove Park
Great park with plenty of open space and paths. My little one enjoyed the play parks and riding his bike around also watching the skateboarders. Very peaceful place with people having BBQs at special designed tables.

Lovely place to wander around. Nice walkways, lots of grass playgrounds, river with bridge and access to gallery and museum. Walkable from city. Good coffee stop with indoor and outdoor seating. Good selection of snacks and drinks. City prices. Big enough to spend an afternoon walking sitting, enjoying the trees.
