What once seemed a simple contraption has evolved over years to a coveted possession, symbolic of a need for exploration, of exploring ones physical limits, and of an appreciation of our wonderful setting.This is no longer just a machine, and so begs the question to whom should I trust its care and maintenance? One is led to seek a leader, a coach, to whom bicycle-tinkering is refined beyond craft, to art. But where can one find such a cycle-deity? Foulden of course!In other words, Mark and Louise are awesome folks who will sort your bike out really good.

This has got to be the best bike mechanic in the Borders. Super efficient service, excellent quality work and a very reasonable price.

From full bike builds and groupset swaps, to wheel refurbs and services, the BBF team are the best there is! Road, TT, Tri, gravel, DH, enduro, XC, kids bikes. They sort them all. And they sock, POC, mucoff and melon soft-ware too, what’s not to like?

Mark gave my bike a full service a few weeks ago, and I'm hugely impressed with the results. Bike is better than new. Next time i'm in the area I will definitely be back.

Great service from Mark, extremely professional from a standard child’s bike to a top level road/mountain bike. He’s also a keen cyclist and knows the importance of having everything working perfectly for race day!

I cannot praise and recommend Mark and the Bike Bran enough Whilst cycling the Coast & Castles route I had a serious problem with my bike that I couldn't figure out. Mark drove out to help get my bike on the road again even though he was on holiday and spending time with his family. He sorted the problem in minutes - something that had vexxed me for hours and days. He was friendly, encouraging, patient and generally a brilliant helpful guy If that's the customer service for a non customer passing through, I can only imagine how good he is with local customers. Really friendly guy that runs this, helped me out last minute with a new chain that I needed and had a friendly chat. Proper decent local bike shop that I’d recommend to anyone near by as he can answer any bike / repair / parts questions you have.
