Home Instead - Chichester & Bognor Regis

I have worked as a caregiver for three years with Home Instead Chichester. I had no experience in the care industry but had help look after my father who had Alzheimer’s. When I first called and spoke to Simon he encouraged me to have and interview and I started My Home Instead journey 3 years ago. The training and knowing if I had a problem or question it would always be answered in a kind and nurturing way. I have absolutely loved being a carer and caring has filled a hole that I didn’t even know was there. Recently I have joined the Office team and I am looking forward to supporting all our carers and clients to be the best and get the best care for them. 10/10 from me.

I was fortunate to find a new job experience working for HomeInstead after nearly 18 years being a stay at home mum .l needed to find a job that related to my career of nursing which unfortunately meantime postponed due to family circumstances and commitments .l needed a job that fitted around my family time and school hours so lm still able to commit to my young children as a single parent .HomeInstead offers the flexibility of hours to suit my needs ,including if l want to do extra hours l can pick them up additionally when needed .The training was uncomplicated and brings you in slowly .The trainers encouragement is positive and well explained throughout the training .Further training and new learning experiences are encouraged throughout your care professional working life as well .The clients you work for are sometimes adapted and relatable to you like their stories and life experiencesare connected in someway through places you have lived or your past ,interests and characteristics.I fully recommend working for HomeInstead as you are thoroughly supported by being given positive advice and encouragement if needed .

Having worked for Homeinstead for nearly 5 years, I can honestly say it is the best company I have ever worked for. I am of a mature age and so I have had experience with many other companies …Home instead are empathic, helpful, understanding and always there for you. this covers both aspects of your life, personal and work. The team in the office are very friendly and fun, and if you feel like popping in for a chat and coffee, you are always made so welcome.

Great Company they really do what they say. I have had some great training and the whole experience with this company as a new employee has been brilliant. They do care, they do give you quality training and there is always someone there to help. I do feel valued as a member of staff. I knew I wanted to start a new career in care and I searched around a researched for a few months before contacting Home Instead. My experience has been really good so far. Being quite a small company you do feel really valued and supported which is important when lone working. The minimum hour calls means that you get to spend time with the clients and I’ve rarely felt really rushed during my visits. If anybody is looking to start or continue a career in care then I would recommend your first port of call being Home Instead.

Home Instead looked after our elderly parents with care and compassion. When dad died they continued to care for mum in the same manner. Some of the carers became like family and the back office always worked with us to find solutions for issues as we live so far away. Home Instead would email us a shopping list and we would shop online which they would then collect. Just an example of how they would go literally the extra mile to make sure care was optimised. As often happens in the care sector, carers move around until they find ‘the one’. The ‘one’ being the company that truly cares about its employees equally as well as its clients and offers genuine opportunities for growth and development. Home Instead has all these qualities.Since joining Home Instead everyone I have interacted with has been lovely and caring. I have met some lovely clients with varying levels of care requirements and feel as if I’ve built some good relationships already.The induction training was very enjoyable, detailed and well thought out. This was a great start to my working journey at Home Instead and since then I have completed my Care Certificate. The office team have been very supportive throughout, they are always at the end of the phone or respond promptly to emails. I already feel like a well-established member of the Care Pro team and I’m very much looking forward to my future journey at Home Instead Chichester & Bognor Regis.
