Bushblades Farm

We visited Bushblades Farm on Sunday 5th March, it was our first visit and definitely won't be our last we walked the Alpacas with Ann and Jane, they were brilliant, extremely friendly. Tea and coffee was provided as well, the butchers is well worth a visit before leaving and the gift shop has some lovely items for sale, made by Ann. Highly recommend a visit.

What a wonderful visit my daughter and I had today to Bushblades Farm. The owners were so friendly and Ann was hugely knowledgeable about the wonderful alpacas. She supported and encourage my daughter to walk and feed the alpacas making her dream come true. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone considering something different to do.

I visited here for my girlfriends birthday and straight off the bat was greeted by smiling faces welcoming us and wishing my girlfriend a happy birthday.Ann then introduced us to the alpacas and we had a pleasant walk with plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos and feed them.Ann went out of her way to show us all of the other animals, have a cuppa and a chat. We even got to see and have a good at working with the alpaca fur!I purchased some of the fantastic products on offer such as the bee wax candles, cushion and firecracker sausages. Its great to support a local farm who obviously care and love their animals and craft especially when the prices are so reasonable!What a lovely morning/afternoon. Thankyou, its made fantastic memories.

Walked Ernie and Draco who were very well behaved. Ann gave us a tour around the farm and was very knowledgeable and a delight. Had a great time overall and can't wait to try the sausages. Thanks Ann!

We had an amazing experience at Bushblades, Ann took us on the alpaca walk and we were also able to see the pigs and cows on the farm. It was a very friendly and informative tour, very accommodating. Highly recommended! Thank you!

A amazing morning with Ann walking two alpacas round her fields, the two we walked were Ernie & Drako. They are super well behaved! And SO SOFT!!!. we fed the rest of the herd with carrots after the walk. She has several pigs & cows on site who we fed also.The scarfs & innersoles sold on site are amazing value and super soft.The sell different meats & sausages on site, I can highly recommend the firecracker, and the honey & mustard ones. Almost forgot the best tasting black pudding ever!!CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE IN THE NORTH EAST! get it ticket off the bucket list!

Me and my mum visited on the 22nd of August. It was a great experience all round and would highly recommend. We had a great walk with Ann and some very friendly and photogenic alpacas. We even got to feed them some carrots and see how their fur was turned into wool. We will be back!

My partner and I went on an Alpaca walk at Bushblades Farm. It was such a lovely experience. Ann was very knowledgable and welcoming. Draco and Ernie (our lovely alpacas for the morning) were just gorgeous. After the walk Ann kindly showed us the other alpacas and cows. I treated myself to a beautiful alpaca wool scarf and my partner bought himself some sausages and burgers from the farm shop. Would highly recommend to everyone!
