A place and area out of time.It appears like the 1920's .Any twenty first century vehicles appear strange and out of place here. You expect to see Lord Peter Wymsey and his man Bunter driving around in Bentley Lagonder two seater around the corner. This upper reach of the River Wensum has some very fine trout in it.An extremly fine example of a chalk bed river.

Enjoyed my visit however you now need permission from the landowner before you can get that classic view, we spoke to 2 lovely ladies walking by who pointed out who the owner was and we got his permission... a big thankyou

Bintree Watermill
One of the most beautiful places in Norfolk. Thankfully not a tourist destination with facilities, just a privately owned old mill and a place for quiet contemplation.

A picturesque corner where old buildings, water meadows, flowers and fascinating birds combine. Well worth a visit although parking can be a problem..

Very picturesque location. River runs right beside the road. The mill is a lovely old building. Not many places to park though
