I was driving my kids to school this morning when my front wipers stopped working. I tried several garages in the area but none of them could help me. I rang HRM and although they were really busy, I explained my situation and they told me to bring my car in straight away and theyd have a look at it for me. Within two hours they had diagnosed, quoted and fixed the problem and got me back on the road. The staff were most helpful and really friendly. Would highly recommend!

MOT and service done. Excellent service by staff and very reasonable prices. Would recommend and use again. I've been back to them again this year (2022) and still looked after 100%. A friendly garage who don't overcharge. I know nothing about car engines and I don't feel taken advantage of. Would still recommend HRM.

The best garage in Bristol. Not for their facilities, although those are top notch! But the team here surpasses any other garage I have encountered so far, especially Matt and Shaun. They are the most trustworthy mechanics I have found in Bristol and their work is both amazing and quick. Specifically, I brought in my daily driver for the to look at and after calling around they were not only the best priced, offered better parts, but also the most helpful. 11/10

Fantastic local garage. Always sorting any issues big or small in a timely manner. Great communication when they had my car for a couple of days keeping me updated every step of the way.Definitely continue using these guys in the future and highly recommend them!!

Super helpful and friendly staff. As woman I find it really intimidating going into a garage, but they were super patient and put me at ease.

HRM is a brilliant garage, they let me know the cost of everything along the way and explained everything that was going on. They are very knowledge and friendly.I highly recommend HRM, would like to say a huge thank you to Matt for all of his help.

My car's lights were in presteen condition as it was examined few weeks ago by a prospect buyer. I took it for MOT at HRM and returned less than 45 minutes later to find I was charged extra £14.34 without consulting me. The Young man claimed its for minor Headlight aim. I doubt that my car had any problem in that field, when I asked him why didn't you ask me ahead if I want to go through such claimed repair, he told me a series of reasons that didn't make any sense and his facial expressions and body language tells he knew it was wrong. I believe they judged my looks as an old lady, she must know nothing about the procedures. I would not trust a buisness that does not consult me before charging me for a claimed repair regardless of how little it was, or for fabricating excuses that dos not add up.

Previously replaced my two front tires and today they did a full service and replaced both rear springs. Service was quick and they did a great job. Cost was very reasonable. These guys work well together and there is a great atmosphere in the workshop.

Last week, I took my car to HRM to have the water pump replaced, after being towed there by RAC.I was informed at the garage that I'd be contacted BEFORE the work was done on my car, so I could be given a quote and therefore decide if I wanted to go ahead with the work.However, the first phone call I received a few days later, was AFTER the work had been complete - informing me that the car was ready to collect.I was quite shocked when I asked how much I owed, as it was over double what I was anticipating.My car is not worth a lot, so if I'd have been quoted before the work was done, I'd firstly have got quotes from elsewhere, but secondly considered not getting the work done at all - and purchasing a new vehicle.Unfortunately, I was not given the choice.My concern is that as a young female, some car garages may take advantage of the fact that:1. I know very little about cars, and2. I am unlikely to feel comfortable disputing something in a garage full of men.I feel HRM did take advantage of this.Plus the fact that I'd been towed there, they were probably aware that my car was officially in their hands so they could do with it what they pleased.The worst part was that after I discovered the cost, I was completely powerless. The work had already been done, so I was not in a position to ask them to undo it so I could take my car elsewhere.I will not be returning to HRM, and would also advise others against using their services, for this reason.
