Great service, the process went smoothly and the team was responsive by email. You do have to be quite hands on with them to make sure nothing slips through the cracks (delivery date / refunds / logistics for trying on the dresses before hand (I'd recommend the advance try on service), but they are helpful and reply quickly.

Beware: do not rent from this company, they are operating a scam! I was sent a FAKE KNOCK OFF DRESS.My experience was this: I ordered the Sabina Misayev Ray dress from their site and was told the order was confirmed. The website has you select on a calendar the date of your event and then populates the date the item will arrive and when you need to return it by. It was marked on their calendar that the dress would arrive on the Tuesday before a Saturday wedding. By end of day Tuesday it hadn’t arrived so I called them and they said because I hadn’t emailed them to say I was in a rush to get it they didn’t think there was any urgency and I would get it before Saturday. I was quite stressed as had never tried this dress on before and wanted to make sure I had time to get something else if needed. After a number of calls they agreed to deliver it the next day. It then turned up as promised, but it was a knock off of the dress. The picture from the site of the dress as advertised is attached and so is a picture of the dress I received. What I received is clearly not the dress and it had no brand tags or care instruction tags (like all commercially produce garments have). I called them and initially they tried to gaslight me by saying it’s the authentic dress. When I sent them photos saying it’s clearly not, they made up some story about a new intern packing the wrong dress to send to me but (shocker) the real dress had probably been sent to someone else and they would look into it. It’s quite obvious they’ve made a copy of the dress and are trying to pass it off as the real deal and hoping people won’t notice. After a lot of terse emails and calls with their customer service (who in our last call were very nasty to me, yelling and sarcastic) I got a refund (least they could do) but be warned. I’ve now looked back through their google reviews and I can see this Ray dress scam happened to someone else 2 years ago and they are still doing it! It makes zero sense as the business model of a dress hire company is you pay for the dress once and then rent it out to make your money back and then some. Pretty outrageous to make bad quality knock offs instead. Zero stars.

I did not have a good experience ordering with Girl Meets Dress. I had selected 2 dresses to try before my event so I paid the £30 try on fee. They were only able to source one of my dresses and only told me the day my dress was being delivered. They sent a second one but it was not in my taste. I was disappointed because I wanted to try these specific dresses for my event. The dresses they sent for me to try on were not in good condition. They smelt like Body odor and hadn’t been cleaned properly. There were also buttons falling off. I didn’t chose either dress and requested to be refunded the £30 try on fee because I didn’t get to try one of the dresses I chose. After countless emails to them I received no response. It also says on their website they will refund you the cost of delivery when you return the dresses but they never did. I will never try here again!

I was really happy with the service from Girl Meets Dress! I booked a visit to the showroom and they were so helpful, kind and had lots of choices for me. I had to bring my 3 month old daughter with me and they were so nice to her, helpful and made me feel at ease the whole time.The process is so easy. I booked and paid for the dress that same day in the showroom and it arrived on the date they had promos very well packed. I will definitely use this service again if I ever need another dress for an event.

We would like to thank Girl Meets Dress for 2 outfits for my son's wedding for my wife - dresses were amazing and she looked stunning!! Customer service was very patient and polite while my wife was choosing her outfits, so thank you very much for the help, prompt and quick replying and great dresses (good condition and clean which is important). I didn’t end up hiring a dress in the end as I had left it very late before the event and what I asked for wasn’t available. But great service though. They sent me other ideas, even offered to send a choice round to me by Uber to get it on time and refunded me very quickly once it was clear I wouldn’t have time to rent another option. I will try again and give more notice. It would be good if they had an automated stock system to manage availability but amazing service otherwise

If you are going to order from this company I strongly suggest you have a backup option in place and don't get too excited about the dresses you are looking to hire. Mine never arrived and they didn't take much responsibility for it - instead blaming the delivery company. I had to call in order to get my refund made before my supposedly delayed delivery arrived. Also, they aren't open at the weekends so if your event is at the weekend I'd make sure you chase like crazy in the days leading up to it - as you get no response on a Saturday!

The dress arrived only a couple of hours before the event I had ordered it for. I had already bought a dress just in case it didn't fit or didn't arrive in time. It did fit but was a more glitzy and sparkly than the photos showed therefore I ended up wearing my back up dress and returned it unworn. Its alot of money to spend to hire a dress and then not wear, an expensive risk to take. if you buy a dress and then don't wear it for an event you can at least return it and get a refund

Such a good experience with Girl Meets Dress - I opted for the advance try on service to make sure the dress fit and the dress was absolutely stunning I received so many compliments on it! The dress arrived about 4 days before the event and I sent it back the following Monday! Would 100% recommend and would definitely use them again!

Poor customer service and Dresses not actually availablePoor customer service, great idea but seem to lack the systems and procedures to fulfil what they offer. I booked a dresses by lara dress which went through online and then received an email the following day to say that it had sold on the Monday of that week and was no longer available, my booking was made on the Thursday. They asked me if I could let them know what style I liked and they would send me other options. I emailed this back to them: 'The dress that I picked would be the type of style I was looking for, It is my sisters wedding and is fairly conservative/formal. Midi/maxi in length' and also asked about another dress I was interested in for September and this is the response I got:'Thank you for your email.At the moment we cancelled your order in order not to keep you waiting as it seems like the only one dress you liked is not available at the moment and we do not have a similar style in stock - sorry.As for the other dress Crepe Halter - it is fully booked for the Netflix TV series for the whole September - apologies!Your order was cancelled and no money was taken from your account.'So rather than actually sending me options like they had offered to in their original email and help me find a dress (I find it impossible to believe there are no long dresses suitable for a wedding) they just sent a dismissive email that basically seems like they can't be bothered to deal with me.The second dress I asked about is still available to book online!Disapointing attitude but it seems that I am not the only person that has had a bad experience when it comes to their customer service.What was meant to be an easy solution ended up with me having to chase them three times on email to get my money sorted.
