Cats Protection - Arbroath & Central Angus Adoption Centre

Great experience adopting our cat from here recently. The staff were helpful and made sure we knew everything before taking our new pet home!

Lovely place. Lovely people and the cats are well looked after

Didn’t get a very good welcoming vibe from this place. The staff seemed very judgemental and quite snobby. They turned their noises up when I mentioned where I lived and made negative assumptions about my area and house! They were very condescending and spoke to me as if I was a child and as if I’d never had cats and kittens before. They also weren’t happy that I showed up on “vet day” with many of the cats being out at the vets. How was I meant to know what day that would be. I donate money each month to cats protection and was willing to give another generous donation while giving a cat a new home but I don’t think I’ll bother going back now after this experience.

They are building new pens but the cats are in safe and secureplace temporarily.I decided upon a lovely cat to give him a new forever home.

Staff they are very helpful, i would recommend for adoption a cat from there also theyve got kittens

Cats Protection encourages letting cats roam outdoors. Every responsible cat owner knows that such behaviour is dangerous for the cats and bad for the environment (cats kill a lot of birds and other small animals, which wreaks havoc in the ecosystem). Don't support them if you care about the well-being of those precious creatures.

The staff are very helpful and very friendly and In my opinion really care about the health of the cats they have in the shelter and cats that are out in homes.

Had a lovely chat with team members. We used the website to enquire about a cat, managed to see him the day after, and left with him an hour after. He got on very well with our lady cat and he's a handsome boy!
