Fun and games and a must visit! if you like getting your hat blown off by a passing train! Seats very close to platform edge! Very clean and tidy

a nice little station served by the Birmingham-Nottingham stoppers, it us unfortunately up a flight of stairs It could do with a ticket machine as the cross-country guards don't seem keen to sell tickets.

As a village it has pretty much everything - 3 thriving pubs, regular bus service, train station, small co-op store open until 10pm every day, big doctor's surgery, restaurants, free car parking, lovely canalside moorings, big marina with shops etc etc

I love this village (and yes I’m biased), village centre is lovely next to the canal. Brilliant Norman style church, good range of shops. Easy access from A38 and A50.Mercia marina is well worth the visit too.
