I knew I would have my placenta encapsulated before I even fell pregnant with my second child, I just didn’t know where to go to have it done. I came across ‘Positive Placenta’ on Instagram and knew instantly that it felt right to reach out. I contacted Milly through her Positive Placenta page and asked her many, many questions. She took her time explaining the process, benefits, pricing and everything in between to me. I felt so confident that my placenta would be handled with respect and professionalism.I have waited weeks to write a review as I wanted to be confident in what I was sharing.Milly ensured she was accessible, which was reassuring as I entered the birth process. Milly promptly collected my placenta from the hospital and delivered my tablets to me the next evening. I opted for 50/50 tablets and tincture.I had high expectations for these tablets and can honestly say that they have exceeded even my high expectations. For me, they have allowed me to enter this new chapter of my life completely serene. I am calm, I am energised and I am happy. Like with any newborn, I am tired but still have the energy to keep up with the things that keep me sane! I have not experienced any stress, even during the night feeds which was a personal concern. With my eldest, I would get upset and frustrated during night feeds because I was so tired, which led to guilt. I haven’t experienced any ‘negative’ emotions this time round and it’s truly freeing. I have such great things to say about my experience encapsulating my placenta and the service offered by MillyI’ve always wanted to take advantage of the benefits of consuming my placenta after birth and was so thankful to have a placenta specialist local to me, with a great growing reputation also!Although I remained very positive throughout my pregnancy, being wife to a husband who works away 5 days of the week I was worried about my energy levels, taking on the tasks of being a first time parent predominantly alone. However … my ‘4th trimester’ has been such a surreal experience, and a complete turn around from my pregnancy - which was not kind to me.My energy levels have blown me away! I have a very hungry little baby, wanting feeding every 2 hours even through the night. Despite not sleeping for longer than 2 hours for many weeks now, I’ve not needed to nap and my energy levels have never crashed. I feel the same, if not better, than what I did pre-birth when I was sleeping a good 8 hours. I was also thankful to see the back of my postpartum bleeding by day 20.I opted for the simple tablets as I personally wanted the highest yield from my placenta, and was over the moon to receive over 170 tablets! Milly collected my placenta within the hour of me birthing, and my tablets were delivered to my home the following day in beautiful packaging. Really easy and friendly conversation with Milly to understand the process and get information. The process itself was straightforward re pick up of the placenta from the hospital and communication throughout. Very happy with the service and have been recovering well after c-section. Mood and energy levels are good, which may be related to taking the tablets. Would recommend positive placenta!

Couldn't rate Millie high enough. She went above and beyond to ensure I everything went smoothly, despite an unexpected early delivery. Millie was fantastic from the start, she explained everything to me in detail and pointed me to her website so I could decide which way I wanted my placenta, i chose tablets. When we messaged her to say I had given birth, she collected my placenta with no problems within a couple of hours and I had my tablets back within a couple of days. I have been taking the tablets for about 9 days and I feel great considering I have an emergency c section, and it's down to the tablets. I've hardly had any bleeding, feeling emotionally well and just generally feel good, even my skin, nails and hair look and feel healthy. I was very worried about how i would feel with the c section, but im suprised how good i feel. I would highly recommend having your placenta turned into tablets!! Thank you Millie!!
