Ready Steady Store Self Storage Leeds Ring Road

The site is easily accessible and being able to park outside your storage unit is brilliant. I had a storage unit for my business for just under two years, which ended in Jan 2022. I received no notification to say an increase in my monthly premiums would be by 75%. I called and was told by Danielle that this was down to the salesman who sold me the contract at the time and had since left the company. I had no notification of the increased premiums from Ready Steady Store apart from my bank telling me I was overdrawn. When I spoke to Danielle, apparently an email had been sent but this had definitely not been received. An increase of 75% was highly unacceptable so I cancelled my contract immediately, giving the two weeks notice, only to be told I would have to pay the full month and they would then refund me two weeks! Which I did not agree to. It was disappointing given I had been a loyal customer.

Been storing here for the past year and had outgrown my unit. I spoke to Sharon who made the experience of moving to a bigger unit so effortless. Sharon was kind and made the move over the phone within the hour. Thank you so much!!

Used Ready Steady Store during a house move and what a superb decision it was. Incredibly straightforward and easy to access (including an app to allow entry from your car) alongside a really good sized unit for a good price using their deals for short term lets. Allowed us to store lots that saved us on moving day. Had quite a few interactions with staff over the phone and each and every time I got an incredibly helpful member of staff who couldn’t have done more to help me in any way they could. Excellent in every way.

First time I’ve used any storage units so wasn’t sure what to expect. The customer service has been excellent over the phone and on the day. It made it really useful to download the app as you can use this from your car to open the gates. The unit was really clean and tidy ready to move my belongings in. The lock was also there waiting inside so no hassle. It was really easily accessible. Would use again in the future.

I'd recommend going here for affordable storage. It's all very high-tech. It's certainly secure. I was amused by how the lanes were named after roads in Leeds, including Elland Road. I also got good service from Nick on the phone.

Fab customer care from Nick! On arrival at our unit with our new kitchen, we realised we’d underestimated the size we needed. Nick was quick to sort, and supported us to upgrade with a great cost too!
