Hamlet’s Pies are HANDS DOWN the best in the world. Crispy, perfect pastry and the filling is so generous; huge pieces of proper delicious beef in the chunky steak and the pork pies are to die for. We’ve also had some of the prepared dishes: garlic & black pepper pork steaks, beef bourguignon and stir fry and they’re all delicious too. Great butchers.

Went to the one in garstang today and purchased some sirloin steak - cut to my size and delighted with the quality of the meat - the price you cannot quibble with - top butchers

Fantastic butchers and very fair prices for quality and tasty food.If I'm passing Garstang or holidaying nearby I always take food home and even buy for breakfast if staying local on hols.The sausages, chicken kievs, utter etc are delicious. Helpful and friendly staff too.

Pie perfection....have only recently discovered this brilliant little place, but I'm already addicted to their pies! So much so I'm tucking into one now, and have bought a bag full to fill the freezer. Seriously some of the best pies I've EVER had, delicious in every way from pastry to filling. Lovely immaculate shop and friendly staff too. Thanks Hamlets, yum!
