My husband and I attended the 6 week antenatal course and we would highly recommend. We felt welcomed from the minute we arrived and we covered lots of topics surrounding labour and birth which really helped to prepare us. A particular highlight was that it was just as welcoming for the dads as it was for the moms. My husband and I have also made some great friends thanks to the group - a real bonus that we weren’t expecting!

I have been doing pregnancy yoga with Becoming families and it is excellent. Hannah, the teacher is wonderful, the yoga is brilliant for growing pregnancy bodies and prepping for labour. Great to meet other mums to be, have a check in and super relax. A time to really connect with baby.I have also done the 2hour breastfeeding class which was excellent, really informative and practical. It was lovely to meet other couples and ask questions.I can't wait to join some of the groups when baby is born. Thanks Becoming Families x

We have absolutely loved doing classes and courses through the incredible team at Becoming Families after being recommended by my midwife team following the birth of my first baby.I have done the baby massage course with Maxine which is so gorgeous, relaxing and full of friendly Mummies.I also did the pelvic floor class and Laura’s knowledge and guidance is just wonderful. She is judgement free and really calming in how she delivers the session.Becoming Families are run by the most welcoming and wonderful humans who create such a warm and friendly environment regardless of what course/class you do. Highly recommend.

My husband and I completed the 6 week Antenatal Course with Jo & Helen before our little one arrived and can’t recommend it enough! As well as being incredibly knowledgable and informative, Jo & Helen are also supportive, kind and welcoming. It’s the perfect environment to ask any questions (no question is a stupid one), meet people going through the same as you and of course learn a lot about labour/birth and the transition into parenthood! The sessions allowed for lots of discussion which I particularly loved. My husband also loved that there was a lot on the course for him to take on board - how birthing partners can help, talking about his feelings as well as mine, and also learning the practical stuff too (to name a few things)!Since having my baby I have done the Baby Massage course with Maxine which I also highly recommend. I love spending the quality time with my baby, taking away the massage techniques to use at home and meeting other new Mums. Maxine is wonderful too, so knowledgable and caring, and we all have a cuppa and a catch up at the end of each session which is lovely too :)

My partner and I recently completed the 6-week antenatal course with Maxine & Helen and it was invaluable! The venue is lovely, we were welcomed from the second we arrived for session one and felt completely at home making our pre session teas by session two! The course consisted of a mixture of task types and all the information shared with us was balanced and based on the most up to date evidence. Maxine & Helen were always there for us even between sessions and I can't thank them enough for that during some more difficult aspects of our pregnancy. The course covered everything to prepare us for labour and delivery through to looking after our little ones. We have also made some new parent friends to go on the journey with - now that babies are arriving the BF mums and dads group chats are very active!I also completed the breast feeding workshop with Lynn which was so helpful for someone who knew nothing about breastfeeding. Again, excellent knowledge and advice which has consequently given me a good start on my breastfeeding journey.I thoroughly recommend becoming families to anyone expecting a little one and I'm looking forward to signing up to their post natal courses now :)

I attended Becoming Families antenatal classes for my second child, and found them to be outstanding. Having a practicing midwife as well as two really well experienced antenatal teachers, meant that they had all the answers and information that a pregnant woman requires! Then with my third child, I attended Motherwise and baby massage, which were both absolutely brilliant and I'm still friends with people I met on the Motherwise course. I can't recommend them highly enough for all your antenatal and postnatal requirements.

This service has been, and continues to be a lifeline for me. I discovered them shortly after the birth of my third child. We have attended baby Yoga (amazingly relaxing!), drop in groups and post natal well being sessions. Calm, comfortable surroundings, knowledgeable, friendly, caring ladies who run the sessions. I feel so relaxed whenever I go :o)

My partner and I came here for antenatal classes and we are so glad we did! We've since been back for various other courses and services Becoming Families offer. Everything has been fantastic and all done in the most caring environment. We've made some truly great friends and learnt a lot in process - what more could you ask for?
