Fantastic museum. Volunteers are friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic morning and were lucky enough to go inside two aircrafts. Highly recommended, great value for money, thank you for a wonderful day!

What a gem of a place. Excellent plane collection and exhibits. Really recommend the extra tours. Was given a tour of the Nimrod by a chap that used to fly on them. Can't get better or more informative than that!

I can’t say enough about how welcoming this museum is to the public. Absolutely fantastic place -all the staff are so accommodating and knowledgeable about all the exhibits they have on show, so engaging really made the experience worthwhile, museums, like this are so much more engaging than some of the bigger corporate museums ( they are good too ) but museum like this. for me and my son who is 12 years old was totally fascinated by the stories of the staff who actually had worked on some of these exhibits . Thank you to all the staff you made out of a truly fantastic history lesson with all the bells or whistles.

A wonderfully, friendly, interesting and inspiring place to visit. There's a great selection of older and newer planes on display. Lots of well filled display cases inside, and a nice canteen where you can get hot and cold drinks, and a selection of snacks. There are tours available for an additional fee, which are well worth doing if you can get booked on one.Disabled facilities are available, and there's a great shop where you can get a variety of merchandise on your way out as well.

Interesting and quirky museum, crammed with exhibits from WW1 and WW2 inside. Lots of info on local airbases in WW2 and the planes that flew there. There is a cafe, plus seating inside and out. Lots of planes to look at outside plus one or 2 you can go inside for extra with a guide.

Enjoyable visit to museum which has a lot of indoor exhibits and cafe . A range of aircraft outside including the Vulcan. Had a very enjoyable tour inside the Nimrod.

Fantastic experience with some meaningful whole aircraft on display including Vulcan and Nimrod. Thoroughly recommend the tours that allow you in the Vulcan and Nimrod too. The guides are really knowledgable. The feedback we gave back at the time is that the tickets were ridiculously cheap, the tours were just £3 extra each, could easily charge £10 or more. Great place.

Great place for adults and children a like. Good value for money great exhibits, and the chance to go inside iconic aircraft. Spent over three hours here, volunteers were friendly with a great wealth of knowledge. My daughter even enjoyed it even though she’s not a plane buff.

What a simply amazing place. Absolutely chock full of fabulous and informative artifacts, information and relics.Had wanted to visit for years and now finally got here. The exhibits are all very well displayed. And the planes themselves a joy to wander around and inspect. For me, I have been able to experience one of my lifetime ambitions. To get into a Vulcan. I found out that the tour to visit the cockpit had stopped on the last day of November. However, the staff were simply amazing and allowed my sister and I to gain access.I was in heaven.I cannot thank the wonderful Linda and John for their incredible helpfulness and John for his unbelievable information. I have studied the Vulcan (and supported XH558 for years) and thought I knew it all. I didn't. And John has enhanced my knowledge immeasurably. Thank you both.So would I recommend a visit? 1000%.And I will be back.Signed a very, very happy Av Geek.

Quite a small museum from the outside but packed to the gills inside with so much memorabilia.Prices are very reasonable & the staff were very helpful.I was very fortunate to be able to get a tour on both the Vulcan & Nimrod aircraft. The tours last for approx 45 mins & both the guides new their history. The Nimrod based on the Comet is similar to a passenger jet but the Vulcan well it is so small in there & not alot of room for the aircrew.I had a great visit.
