Brilliant food! Sublime goulash, the Czech plate and duck confit were also great. Nice homemade lemonade.Also good prices for what's served.Would definetly recommend

Great place with amazing food with a twist. Not just brutal Czech cuisine (still being nice though:-). And not pure high cuisine. Something in between, very tasty and very friendly staff.Kraft schnapps is highly recommended!For evenings having reservation is a must.

Great flavors, can tell care goes into the version of these dishes. Had the goulash, came out with Luke warm sauce but everything else was perfect. Didn't distract from the flavors. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely one of the best meals I had during a 3 week tour of 6 countries, and an unbelievable experience especially for the price. During the meal we kept remarking that this should be a Michelin-star rated restaurant because the food was so incredible, and were amazed when at the end the bill was only $28 (USD) each between two people. That was for the pate as an appetizer, splitting two traditional dishes, plus a dessert, two beers, and two Cokes. Simply amazing and a must if you are in Prague.

My personal favorite restaurant in Prague. Everything they prepare is a piece of art. Their drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are amazing (everyone must try their lemonades).Food, all three appetizers, entrees and desserts, are gorgeously plated. The combination of flavors and textures is simply fantastic. Finally, they have their own beers and pear liquor.This is the type of place you bring people to impress.

The staff is nice. They found us a place to sit even though the restaurant was full (in the hotel area).They said main course would take 40 minutes, and it took 30 tops, so they were even quick.The food tasted great.Why 3 stars?I ordered Bryndza Gnocchni, and well... The portion was sized for an 8 year old. After exiting the restaurant I had to buy some sausages in the Christmas Market as I was still hungry.I don't mind paying decent money, but in return I expect a decent portion.We had a great time there, even the toilets are nice, and it's sad to say bad things about a place like that.But all in all, it comes down to the food.And it even tasted good.But I left the restaurant hungry.It's not like I got hungry again soon".I was still hungry. Shamefully little food was on my plate."

I just had the most wonderful meal at Czech Slovak Restaurant. I had the mushroom soup and the venison/game goulash. It was all just incredible - rich flavors perfectly melded together.I was done with beer for the day, but they do provide samples if you're interested, which is very nice.My waiter was excellent, very friendly and packed up my leftovers. The price was extremely reasonable.This is everything you could want in a restaurant. I wish I could give it 10 stars!Edit: had to come back for the homemade schnapps and dessert!Don't miss the braised pear topped with absinthe and set on fire with walnut-cinnamon ice cream!This restaurant was the most fun place I went in Prague. I wish I could come back and live in this neighborhood for a while.A big thank you to Jakub, my favorite waiter ever ♥️

After reading all the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor, I had to visit the Czech Slovak Restaurant when I visited Prague, and it exceeded all my expectations. I had the 8 course Degustation menu with paired wines and every course and wine was superb. What elevated this from being a fantastic dining experience to being one of my most amazing and memorable was the passion and dedication of Henrik; part owner and maitre d and the superb service from Denise; Henrik’s wife and my waitress. The restaurant is beautiful; a very calming, relaxed and romantic atmosphere. If you have a passion for great food, wine and exception service, then if you visit Prague, you must visit here. In fact, I would suggest that it is worth going to Prague just to visit here! Thank you, Henrik and Denise for the most amazing and unforgettable evening.
