You can find anything from lights to plants, storage boxes, kitchens and tools. Reasonable prices compared to other shops. Large outdoor area for gardening stuff. Plenty of parking including mother and child and disabled.

Whatever happened to customer service - clearly not something B&Q value instilling in their staff - been several times lately and not once has anyone said hello at the till, said please, thank you - made small talk - the people employed on the tills appear to have the personality of a brick……

Has a great selection of everything. Prices quite high, you can find everything cheaper elsewhere. Not always has stock in. I've been looking for plaster, so instead of board plaster I had to buy multi purpose plaster. It's fine, but for such a big shop you expect better.

Had a sheet of 18mm ply cut today.5 @ 150mmNon of them the same width.One has a curve it it.How can you do that.Only one star , could get it in the car

The staff are really helpful, the app range is better then in store. Stock levels and availability range needs to improve compared to competitors. Including price point.

I am going to express my every time experience when ordering a delivery. Every single time, I wanted to order material,seeing it on shelves, I was told either they have not ebough or not at all. Clearly,I can see full shelves, but no,because delivery comes from Milton Keynes. Our last delivery,01.09.2023, I spent 50 minutes on the phone to be answered. Not receiving any information the day before,I was asking if it would arrive that day. It did,with items missing. After not hearing from B&Q for 2 weeks,I spent 30 minutes on the phone to be picked up, and then the lady wouldn't discuss our order with me, because I wasn't an account holder, my husband was. (My name was added,but she didn't see it). My husband was away, so he called B&Q after over 1 month since our actual delivery, waiting over half an hour on the phone, to be told that they have to check with different department about missing material, and that they will call in next 24 hours. That was 2 days ago. Staff at Northampton B&Q are amazing, but delivery is not worth even 1 star.

First time in B&Q Northampton today, the shopping atmosphere was relaxed, and the staffs are very patient and helpful, especially Ambor, the lady who served me. I will recommend my friend to come. Good job, Ambor, and the team!

Fantastic helpful staff, I think we deserve shares in the company with the amount of money and time we have spent in the store whilst we have been doing up our home.Tom who works in the kitchen department is an absolute credit to the company, helpful, polite, and knowledgeable.We can only praise the staff at this store.Omar has served us at the till several times even at 7am he definitely is the service with a smile representative you want serving.
