Alice is so lovely and knowledgable about all her plants and terrariums. The shop is beautiful. She's helped us care for our terrarium since we got it 6 months ago. If you like plants, it's a must visit.

We used this wonderful little plant shop for our table decorations at our intimate wedding nearby. Alice was so lovely and helpful and did a wonderful job of putting it all together for us. We were so pleased with how the room looked, she brought the outside…… in. And we were able to purchase a number of them as keepsakes. Just perfect! Thank you.

I love this little shop, it's a treat to visit and stock up on house plants. Lovely selection of pots too for yourself or gifts. I went to a great terrarium workshop too which was really fun and informative. Alice knows her stuff and is super friendly !

I'd been following The Outside In on social media for several weeks in advance of my move to York and was delighted to finally get there in person. It was as good as I'd hoped: fabulous range of healthy plants, very reasonably priced. Alice was welcoming & knowledgeable.

Just a wonderful shop. Amazing range of plants and Alice, the owner, is so wonderfully helpful. I have bought many plants that are still thriving (thanks to Alice’s tips!) and have also attend a number of workshops which have been fantastic! If you looking for plants or a workshop, this is the place to go!

What an amazing little shop and workshop. I went with some friends for a terrarium making workshop which was so much fun, would definately recommend to anyone. Alice is so knowledgeable. A great selection of really resonably priced plants and plant accessories. Definately a must visit for any plant lovers or anyone looking for lovely gifts.
