Broughton Hotel
The location was perfect for our situation on this trip.There is a 13th century church within walking distance which was very nice.Also within walking distance is the long distance bus station and the local train station is a 10 minute car ride.The hotel staff was very nice and polite with the highlights being Paula, the hostess in the eatery, and Ryan the cook.The only reason it wasn't a 5 star review is because they didn't vacuum the room daily.They did change the towels daily and made sure we had plenty of toilet paper, coffee, tea, etc.

After lockdown we tried various foodpubs in Milton Keynes.Like most customers we look for three things, food quality, value and service.In our opinion the Broughton is a clear winner. We eat there once/twice a week. Will continue to do so and look forward to trying Xmas food soon. Well done Broughton.

This place is excellent. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was superb and very big portions. The beer selection was excellent too. I'm short, very impressive and I'll highly recommend.

I stayed in this hotel for reggae land. The rooms were spacious, the bed was so comfy. I went straight to deep sleep. But the only downside is the bathroom needed a renovation and toilet wasn't flushing well hence the 4 star review. The breakfast there was nice and staff were friendly. Will use this hotel again soon.

We stayed in a twin room on 23rd September. For the nearby BTCC race at Silverstone racetrack. The checkin was nice and easy, very polite and informative. We had a ground floor room number 16. it was right accross hall from reception. The room was large with 2 comfy twin beds. Large TV that we connected our Firestick to watch Netflix. The rooms are located at the back of the Pub so access was very east to the pub. We ate in the pub and the food was quick and tasty. We sat in the bar for the rest of the evening ordering drinks on the app. Overall the experice was good and we would use this hotel again.PS there are reviews about the older batherooms and yes they could do with updating but ours worked fine and was clean, also the shower was powerful.

The room was clean and well stocked with tea and coffee although it was a bit run down and could do with updating. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Food was excellent and a very fast service

The hotel is located very well with lovely walks all around and it is close to the M1 motorway. I have given three stars only because the bathroom in our room was so bad. Otherwise it would have got 5 stars. Staff were nice, polite and helpful.The room was of a good size but the bathroom was in need of a total refurbishment. Notwithstanding that we would stay here again and would give it a recommendation.

What a gem. Stayed at another hotel (sorry) but came here for evening meal after a long day at Silverstone. Was busy but found a table. Ordered a Full Monty mixed grill. Thought cos it was busy there'd be a wait but in around 10 minutes my food arrived and it was great. Steak cooked perfect, chicken not dry all very tasty and lots of it. Great atmosphere too. Going to book a room next time I'm at Silverstone.

Like staying here. Travel a lot with work and there’s a nice big room, good sized TV and pub next door. Great brekky too - Mike the chef!!

The room itself was ok, the bathroom was very dated and in major need of a revamp. The mattress was very firm... I mean firmer than most. Had to sleep on the duvet for the extra comfort. The breakfast was not worth the £9 price in my opinion, the coffee was cheap and was tasted so too. The best value on breakfast was the kids full English as you'll save £4 and only lose out on a hash brown and a rather of bacon. The towels although clean, were very rough and uncomfortable to use.
