David fitted a cowl on my chimney pot, this afternoon. It seemed a good idea because, earlier, he and his mate had cleared a flexi-bucket full of jackdaws nesting material from inside the chimney!Great lads and a fast, efficient, friendly service.

Booked this company to fit log burner chimney. The day to fit came and went. I texted, called & emailed, nothing…until I noticed I had a voicemail message. It was Dave from firefly berating me for “bombarding” him with messages in the morning st aggressive and threatening manner, threatening to come round and straighten me out unless I stopped calling. I have resisted leaving this feedback for fear of retaliation, however, I have suffered more abuse after warning someone off this company so decided to share my experience. AVOID FOR YOUR OWN SAKE

Very happy with Dave’s work. Pic is before and after. What was particularly helpful was that he was happy to take on the job minus stove installation as we didn’t require one. I would recommend Dave/Firefly; he was highly personable, knew what he was doing and cleaned as he went along. And his quote was very reasonable. Can’t ask for more. Nice one Dave!

Dave and his team fitted a log burner for us on Monday and did a fantastic job.Over the last two years we have had several people give us quotes for the job. We don't have a chimney breast in the bedroom above the lounge and we were told it was a difficult job or a very expensive job. Some never even sent the quote. Dave wasn't fazed by the job in the slightest,he gave us a very reasonable quote. They all worked flat out from the minute they started the job to the end. Thank you Dave & your team.

If only all tradespeople were this good! 100% recommended. Dave was full of advice and ideas without being big headed and pulling the wool over your eyes like some tradesmen try to! He gave a clear written quotation and explained how he would do the job and filled me with confidence. He turned up on time, did everything he said he would (and more,) which included a full 2 storey chimney removal. He took great care protecting carpets and tidying up after himself and all in all I couldn't ask for more!

Very professional, friendly and punctual service from beginning to end. David was the only one of the three quoting that could offer all the services we required without subcontracting a key part (eg scaffolding or chimney lining) to others. He is a knowledgeable and skilled chimney expert who was a pleasure to deal with throughout. Easy to recommend!
