First Class Learning Rothley, Anstey & Syston

Debbie and the team at first class Learning are lovely. Very helpful kind and approachable. My son has enjoyed being part of these tuitions classes after needing the additional support that school aren't giving him enough of. He has come on in his maths and English abilities and has over come fear of both these subjects and has grew in confidence along the way aswell. Debbie has been fantastic and very easy to contact about anything. It's been a positive experience for both myself as a parent and my son.

First Class Learning has helped my son to achieve a much higher standard in his writing that has been noted by his teacher. His confidence is up and he enjoys writing at home now. After his first two years of school being disrupted by the pandemic, I feel he is now more well equipped to keep up at school. By doing just a few minutes a day practice and a weekly session i have seen a big difference in four months . Deb is warm, professional and my son took to her straight the the way.

After missed subjects during lockdown my daughter was behind with her maths especially times tables. Attending sessions with Debbie and team has given her the boost she needs to succeed in her day to day maths at school improving her confidence so she feels happy to put her hand up!Debbie offers a secure and friendly environment for learning with easy to understand tuition procedures. We are so pleased with Ava’s development not only in her understanding of maths but also her happiness to compete work!

My daughter first joined First Learning Rothley during Foundartion as due to some hearing difficulties had started to fall behind on her phonics & reading. Once a week Jean attends for English working through the work sheets, however due to her age & difficulties Jean was hugely supported with her tasks & often things were adapted to support her more visual learning style.During the pandemic Debbie continued to support with 1:1 zoom lessons & then face to face. Jean has now returned & she has made huge progress. She can now confidently work independently on the worksheets, but also still receives alternative tasks related to the school curriculum to ensure she stays on track. Her recent parents evening was much improved & I know Debbie & her team are a great support to Jean & myself to ensure she enjoys learning.She enjoys going every week & seeing/hearing the other children's learning objectives. Would definitely recommend.

We would highly recommend Debbie and first class learning. Our daughter had a shocking year 1 at school and we needed something to help keep her head above water. Amazingly, she passed her sats at national standard which 6 months ago seemed impossible. Thankfully a great school teacher in year 2 and Debbie’s extra help has given our little girl the biggest boost she could have asked for.

Since my son has worked with Debbie his confidence has come on leaps and bounds. He’s enjoying reading and interacting more at school. He’s even won a class award and moved up a reading band. We’re very proud of the effort he’s put in and it wouldn’t have happened without Debbie’s support and kindness. The tuition itself is well organised and Debbie is always available with tips and advice. A great experience overall!
