Great Beach, especially for children. You can get to It either by using a ramp near camel's island, the steps near Marsden bank, or the stairs or lift at the Marsden grotto pub (where there is also a car park)

Marsden Bay
One of my favourite places to visit whenever I am in South Shields. Hidden little gem. Love the rugged coastline. Nice little beach with the stunning Marsden Rock. The Grotto is worth popping in for if you want a drink. Cannot comment on food as it’s been a few years since I’ve eaten here.
