A brilliant space with even better staff and fun classes for mixed abilities. The classes seem to have a little community feel with both peer and instructor provided motivation. It’s also a great place to get 1:1 / small group PT at affordable prices :)

Joined 3 months ago and love it. I’ve never done this type of training before, but making good progress. I’ve lost weight, I’m Stronger and fitter. All the coach’s are awesome and there’s a great atmosphere. If you have the same goals and want to feel part of a team, then I highly recommend getting in touch to arrange a free 1 week trial.

My 1 year on review -I’ve amazed myself! Im proud of my achievements! I can now deadlift 90kg in reps! .. … Once someone who shied away from a gym I now miss it if I don’t go . In the last 12 months the improvement in my strength, mobility and mental clarity is huge and that’s all thanks to Lee and Dean at SCF. You really do reap the benefits of the hard work you put in and these guys have your back! . Your gains don’t happen over night and they won’t suggest otherwise , it is a life style change in both the way you exercise and your nutrition. SCF is an incredible support for achieving your goals. The knowledge Lee & Dean provide alongside the other members encouragement, love and support makes this gym a special place . Working out is finally enjoyable and I highly recommend signing up to a membership and joining the small group PT sessions.... ❤️

I have been going to SCF for 4 months now and I’m so pleased I found them! Lee & the team are fantastic and have been so welcoming and supportive since day 1! They really tailor each session to the class and I’ve honestly never found working out to be so enjoyable. Never repetitive and the time just flies by! They differ from other fitness venues I have been to in the way that they are so personable and have really created a fantastic community. If you’re looking to improve your fitness and have fun while you’re doing it, i would highly recommend considering SCF! :-)

I have trained at this gym since August 2021. It is very convenient for my location, as I work a few minutes away. Upon initially walking into the gym on day one I was welcomed warmly and the owner introduced me to himself. How many times will the gym owner greet you, shake your hand and welcome you in? that instantly sent the message of a great place for me to train.I specialise in Powerlifting and have all the equipment and more that I could ever dream of. There is always a great atmosphere and every person who walks through the door treats each other with respect and is friendly.If you're looking for a gym that has all the equipment you would need, members of staff who are helpful and willing to give you any attention needed that will help towards your goals and a fun thriving atmosphere. THIS IS THE PLACE!

Lee and his team have created a fantastic gym for small group training opportunities that encourages each person to develop and train at their own level/ pace. SCF has a positive atmosphere with a family like feel to the place where everyone is made to feel welcomed and included. No egos here, lots of fun and encouragement. Can’t recommend it enough!

Fear will always hold you back and if you’re holding yourself back, how will you ever move forward?This was my main issue. This changed the moment I met Lee. His welcoming smile and kind mannerisms is just the cover of who he actually is. The knowledge , understanding, and enthusiasm he has for his business and his clients is one to be praised.I have struggled with a few mobility issues for more than twenty years. My hips were in constant pain and woke me up multiple times a night. I’ve had every test, scan, and therapy option there is to relieve this and with no luck. I expressed to Lee my hip issues along with my ongoing paralyzing sciatic nerve issues due to an injury.Lee took this all on board and within 8 weeks I was sleeping, walking, and strength training with ZERO PAIN!I can even sit cross legged and I have NEVER been able too!I cannot express enough how my life has changed for just those two injuries that have now left me. I say HAD because it’s been months now and I have put it out of my continuous thoughts.My journey of weight loss and self love has changed. It’s still a work in progress but I’m getting there at a healthy pace with the support physically and mentally. Going to the “gym” excites me and I’m always looking forward to my next session. It doesn’t feel like hard work even though it’s physically challenging in a positive environment.If you are looking for a gym that feels like home, where you’re comfortable, respected, and loved. I went to see Lee in February 2023, following recommendation from a few friends. I was suffering with long term debilitating hip bursa pain which meant I could not sit for longer than 30 mins…. let alone exercise much. After numerous tests & scans - the only option I was left with appeared to be surgery.I was really only hoping for some advice and some 1:1 rehab sessions to help with the pain so I didn’t need an operation.Fast forward 7 months……..NO op & NO pain! I am enjoying 3 “small group” PT sessions a week. I have built muscle and am also fitter & stronger than I have ever been before. I am also just about to walk a marathon in Edinburgh!As well as the physical side, I have also been educated in the benefits of consistent training & good nutrition. I now understand that the “weight” figure on those scales is not that important….it’s HOW that weight is made up that IS important.I thought small group PT sessions may be intimidating but every member has been so welcoming and supportive from Day 1. We are a group of all ages and all abilities encouraging each other to do THEIR best. These small sessions not only build your confidence but also mean your technique is constantly being checked so there is much less chance of injury.I can’t thank Lee & the team enough.As an added bonus, Lee is also very knowledgeable & understanding with menopausal ladies - and copes very well with my “brain fog” during sessions!
