Tom is a great guitar teacher and all round lovely dude! He is super knowledgeable and a very competent and experienced player and teacher, and was able to figure out and help me with exactly what it was I needed help with.

Tom is a talented and patient teacher who focuses on genuinely helpful tips and exercises. After many years of playing (badly) and not progressing, Tom’s Top Tips have helped me to improve my playing. Highly recommended.

Tom bought all the musician vibes and is super curious about everything music related, always looking for new things to try or different learning techniques in class. He keeps his students on track with either voice notes or google docs, adapting and flexing to different learning styles. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve been taking Tom’s weekly lessons for nearly 1.5 years now. It’s the first time I’ve managed to play the guitar consistently for so long and that’s a real testament to Tom’s great lessons. Absolutely love guitar lessons with Tom! I've been having lessons with Tom since January 2021 via video calls which has worked brilliantly. Tom has improved my guitar playing ability tenfold since starting lessons. I was completely new to guitar and had tried a couple of online tutorials before, but they hadn't really worked. Tom delivers well thought out lessons that aim to give you small improvements each time and he works with you to improve on your technique when you're struggling with certain parts. He manages to fuse theoretical elements with songs that are fun to play so you're learning the fundamentals and staying interested by hearing yourself play actual songs. I would recommend Tom to anyone who is trying to learn or improve on the guitar.

Tom is a great teacher - explains things very well and is really patient. As a complete beginner I really enjoy our lessons and Tom works hard to find songs to practice that I really like. Highly recommended!
