Exterior is a little plain but once inside, obvious that ongoing renovations and improvements are being carried out. Some very ornate rooms within and certainly, during an open day within the City, well worth a visit.

Attended sons wedding at this location and can't really fault the friendliness and helpfull Ness of the staff who made the day very special for all attending. As a lover of real handpulled real ale the draft beer on sale is a bit dated but made ok by them buying in bottled beers to cover this aspect

Two years advertised as open for Heritage Open Days. Both years totally shut and looked like no one inside. Very disappointing.

It's a great place to hold party venues especially northern soul scene the propriety DAVE SCAGILL and great bar staff loved it will go again ✊KTF

We held our wedding here, from start yo finish Gail and the venue staff where friendly and so professional. The food was first class and everything was taken care of.

Ideal location for functions. We had 68 seats and was comfortable. The table staff were very caring and seemed to enjoy themselves whilst doing their job. The fresh food was excellent and the chef commendable.We will use again without doubt.
