Think Pacific

A big thank you to this organisation for doing the work that they do! My time in Fiji was an unforgettable and unbeatable experience, the love I received from my host family to the friends and connections I made (both UK volunteers and Fijian youth!) were incredible. I’ve gained more life skills than any internship or work experience could provide and I’ve had the privilege of getting an insight into true Fijian life and culture. If you’ve wanted to volunteer abroad then this programme is the one for you!

Taking part on one of the Think Pacific projects was easily one of the best experiences in my life. I don’t regret a single minute of the project and would go back and do it again if I could. Learning about Fijian culture helped enhance my overall cultural awareness. I highly recommend these projects to anyone who has the means to partake in them.

The most fulfilling experience!Taking part in a Think Pacific volunteer project provides you with lifelong experiences that no one can take away. I quickly realised that Fiji was going to become a second home. The hospitality was not like anything I have experienced before. Being accepted into your family and village with open arms is a feeling to treasure. The three weeks in village felt more like three days. I specifically enjoyed the culture course it was insightful and provided a deeper understanding of the Fijian culture.I could not be more grateful for the family and friends I now have in Naitauvoli Village, Fiji.

Made some of the most amazing memories ! It was a life-changing experience. It was such a nice opportunity to get to know more about the beautiful Fijian culture. I am now part of a Fijian family who I absolutely adore. It was also very rewarding and educating as we got to share views on important topics like mental health. This has given me a new perception on life. I would highly recommend !!!

Volunteering with Think Pacific was the best decision of my life and my time in Fiji is one I will never forget. I am extremely grateful to have met so many amazing volunteers and Fijians and have learnt so much about Fiji's culture and day to day life in the village.I left Fiji with a new outlook on life and feeling like a more confident and resilient individual.Thank you to Think Pacific for the opportunity and i encourage anyone to volunteer in Fiji.

In one word….wow!!! I can not recommend this programme highly enough the skills you develop the memories you make and most importantly the friendships and sense of community is something you will never experience else where. I now can say I have a family on the other side of the world and the impact they had on me I could never have imagined. The amount of new experiences you try and the fact of being able to fully immerse yourself into a completely new and different culture is what makes think pacific so unique. The friendships and memories will last a life time. Genuinely the best months of my life thank you Think Pacific for providing me with the best opportunity of my life so far!

Volunteering with Think Pacific is such an amazing opportunity! Every person who takes on this adventure will come away with memories so special and unique that it will leave a lasting impact on you forever. Spending one month in a village really opens your eyes to differences in culture and it provides the best environment for making lifelong friends!! Definitely would recommend this experience for anyone wanting to challenge themselves and learn more about Fijian culture whilst giving back to the community and gaining global skills!

Volunteering this summer with Think Pacific was such a fantastic experience!Having the opportunity to work in meaningful collaboration with the local community to build a health dispensary taught me a lot about Fijian culture and myself.I would 1000% recommend getting yourself involved and over to Fiji to be a part of this wonderful program.

Words can’t explain how amazing my time volunteering in Fiji with Think Pacific was. The village we stayed in was so welcoming and it was a privilege to be able to join their families. I had the best time ever and I will always be grateful I had the opportunity to experience it. I have made life long friends with other volunteers and also now have family on the other side of the world. I would recommend volunteering for Think Pacific to anyone as it was one of the best experiences of my life!
