The SAS of coal merchants.Their delivery was so quick and quiet Ididn’t even hear the stuff arrive. Delivery by stealth and guile!Friendly business, good prices and a pleasure to deal with. Reminds me of the old days where you can phone up, place an order and they deliver a day or two later. Second order from these folk. Very happy.

Absolutely fantastic service. After having been let down by a different firewood supplier, I rang this company to see if they could fit us in. They said it would probably be within two weeks. 3 days later they turned up! Very happy new customer!

Great company - they've always been super helpful and friendly to deal with. I contacted them for a delivery of logs, and they went out of their way to get me them to me within a few days. The wood is great too - nicely seasoned and burns like a dream.

I've been a customer of smiths for thirty two years, they have provided my calor gas, logs and kindeling, all this time. Smiths are a great company, reliable, punctual, and always help. I couldn't bare to change suppliers, I know the Grandfather, the Sons, grandsons, where can you sit and chat on a winters day with four generations on old rickety chairs with hot tea? Granpa Smith was born in Axford, and comes in to chat with the twins his great grandsons, I love their yard, the whole place and thier traditional values and great service. Hope they keep me warm for the next 32 years, I'll be 98 years old then.
