We visited two weeks ago. The food was delicious and the service was very good. We tried the Nar Mixed Grill and the Scottish Salmon. Plenty of food.Would definitely recommend!

Racist and prejudiced restaurant. Avoid if you’re not English. The manager refused to serve a Pakistani (or Iranian?) veiled family in front of us - there was a lady who had apparently called the restaurant for a lunch booking with her kids and they refused her saying they were closed when they were in fact open! She ended up there just to prove them wrong and gave the manager a verbal smashing. The guy was embarrassed and admitted he lied and profusely apologized upon being slammed in front of the customers. He admitted he told her it was closed as he didn’t want to serve her. We were about to order when this happened this afternoon - and left as we didn’t want to dine in such a horrid place. Also, this place is not entirely halal in their meat. They don’t say it but items like the lasagne are not halal - only upon questioning and interrogating can one find out what is halal and what is not. Which makes their other meat doubtful too. Again, deceitful.Edit: The restaurant has posted a rubbish response below. So this is my response to them. We were outside the door, when the lady was yelling at your man at the reception for lying and deceiving them, and saw his sheepish face. And we turned away. We didn’t even speak to you nor did we enter your restaurant. Check your cameras ;) So there was no argument nor conversation between me and your people. And stop lying on Google. Shows the kind of person you are and the kind of restaurant you run. No wonder there are no positive reviews from Asians on your restaurant. We would've complained to the cops if we had the time - what you did was illegal in Scotland. We took our time and our money to the other Middle Eastern place also run by Turkish people that was much more receptive and had better food. Try that out folks on Google, plus a whole lot of better dining spots in Inverness.

Being first time tourists to Inverness, my party and I were completely unaware of the need for reservations at most restaurants, even on a Monday night! After returning from a tour of the Isle of Skye, and famished, we frantically searched for a location that would seat us. Fortunately Nar not only had one last table, it was one of the best places to fall into in Inverness. The staff were accommodating, all of our food was fresh and the portions generous. For wine drinkers, you must try the Yakut (red wine from Türkiye), it was fantastic. Take a break from Fish, Chips and Haggis to enjoy this wonderful establishment.

Wow the taste was tremendous , food was so delicious , I actually felt so guilty I couldn’t finish it , beautiful restaurant, lovely atmosphere and the music was rather enjoyable to. Service was top class , very polite and professional , will definitely be returning here to try everything on the menu, amazing food cooked to perfection , if there was 6 stars I would give to that

SO GOOD, everything was absolutely delicious, and huge portions. We got the mezze trio, king prawn shish and chicken shish. Awesome and quick service, gorgeous interior, nice view of the street outside - no downsides, go here!

We were very lucky that other restaurants were all booked and we found this gem! Absolutely delicious Mediterranean food, if we lived here we'd be regulars!

Amazing food! Delicious, well spiced dishes. The mezzo share plate along with each main dish were rated excellent by our party. The restaurant itself is nice and inviting. Probably the best meal of our trip. Recommend.

My partner and I are real foodies and regularly eat out. Being in the Midlands we have a massive selection from a wide variety of cuisines to eat so when we head up to Scotland we find the options are limited so this was a good find.Looking at the menu I fancied most things that were there and wasn't disappointed with my choice. The food is well cooked, good flavours and there is plenty of it.It is well worth a visit.
