Calista Cats

Sandy treats all her cats with so much love and kindness, like treasured members of the family. Her kittens are gorgeous, confident and very, very affectionate. I highly recommend Sandy and her cats and kittens.

Sandy is very easy & straightforward to deal with. She treats all her cats like close family members . My kitten Ollie is now 6 months old & was confident & sociable from day one! He has a super temperament & is very affectionate. I would recommend Sandy to anyone looking for a Burmese cat

Received two little Burmese boys from Sandy in Nov&Dec'22 (two different litters). The Burmese breed is incredible as it is.. but these cats have been nurtured in the first few months of their life to be caring, playful, loving companions. They crave human company and are completely at ease with all human interaction (I have 3 young daughters). Couldn't recommend more

Sandy gifted us our beloved Patsy, a Chocolate Burmese girl, back in 2019. From the outset Sandy was so straightforward and easy to deal with. She sent us updates on our kitten’s progress and continues to care right up to today, which is by no means a given with cat breeders. The environment in which the kittens are raised before you collect them is exactly as it should be, big enough to give them space and well kept but with all of the extended family very much present and involved. It is so heartening to see all of the aunties raising the kittens and whilst Dad chills outside in the potting shed.Onto Patsy, she is a picture of robust health which is what one wants above all when getting a pedigree kitten. Her temperament is lovely with a nice balance of sop (on her terms of course) with a touch of sass when called for! Furthermore, she is an extremely intelligent cat, one of the brightest I have had, and is adept at manipulating us to give her dreamies.I thoroughly recommend Sandy both personally as a breeder and the lines of her cats. I will not hesitate getting another kitten from her when we are extending our family again.

I have two Calista cats and they are both such personalities (although very different). They both love people and were confident and friendly and inquisitive from the moment they came home. They’d obviously been brought up with lots of care and kindness and attention. They are lovely pets, proper members of the family and so beautiful. Five stars, definitely!

This is the second kitten I have had from here and again she is a beauty. The temperament of the cats is so good. They are friendly and playful.Sandy is a lovely lady and I would recommend here as a breeder to anyone looking for a Burmese cat

We couldn't have asked for a better experience of finding kittens. Our two boys arrived so well socialised they were immediately out of the carrier and exploring the house. They settled so quickly. They also have bags of personality - so friendly, and wanting to be with us wherever we are in the house, and frequently coming for cuddles or a sleep on a lap.Sandy was welcoming and we (with our two children) spent several visits playing with the kittens (and their mum, who was frequently up on our shoulders) in the weeks before they were ready to come to us. We also had a steady stream of photos of their development. Sandy obviously takes great care of her cats and kittens, and we'd recommend her to anyone.

We are so glad we found Sandy! What a fantastic breeder who really understands the importance of socialising her beautiful kittens in a loving home environment. Having had Tonkinese cats for 30+ years our departure to Burmese was inevitable once we visited Sandy and her tribe of cats. Every one a personality and every one absolutely loved and cherished. From start to finish she kept us in the loop with the kittens progress and welcomed us into her home many times for kitty cuddles, which doubled as therapy after the sudden loss of our 2 oldies who died within a week of each other.Honestly we could have gone home with any one of her kittens, all had wonderful temperaments. In the end we went for two boys, a chocolate and a blue. We are completely in love with our boys who are happy and super sociable with anyone who visits our house, young children included. Even a trip to the vets was a different experience with these two, they are just so confident and relaxed, it’s quite incredible.Big thank you Sandy, you have made our family complete again. Thanks to your gorgeous girls and boys for making the best little kitties anyone could wish for!!!

An update to this review! Sadly my beautiful brown girl Tazzie passed away on the 2nd March 2023 after being hit by a car . Sandy gave a great deal of comfort and advice as to helping Meena cope . Two months on Koko joined us , another gorgeous brown Calista baby, raised with as much love care and attention as all of Sandys babies. Meena doesn’t get much peace now as Koko is a bundle of pure delight. Thanks you for entrusting her to me. Don’t hesitate to speak to Sandy if you are thinking of adding a Burmese cat to your family !If I could give more stars I certainly would ! I have had Burmese cats from 1980 until about 10 years ago and for many years bred them , they are the most beautiful cats in every way. I really wanted to have them again just before Covid struck however 11 months ago I finally found Calista Burmese and Sandra. I was so excited to hear that she had a litter of kittens just 4 weeks old and 2 of them were exactly what I was looking for , we had a very long discussion, after all these babies don’t just go to any home, and when they were a couple of weeks older I visited Sandra and her wonderful cats! I was so impressed both with her and the care, love and attention given to her Burmese family! The kittens and their Mum, Roxy , were just adorable and several weeks later I brought home Tazzie (gorgeous brown girl) and Meena (stunning Chocolate girl ). They were so well socialised that’s the second I let them out if the carrier they ran around laying claim to every part of my home. They are everything Burmese should be and more , so affectionate , gentle , playful , inquisitive and now irreplaceable . Thank you Sandra for these beautiful girls , anyone would feel privileged to have a Burmese cat with your prefix , the love and dedication to their welfare, even when they’ve gone to new homes is outstanding!
