We instructed Alan to level 3 survey a property for us and we were very pleased with his work (and his explanations over the phone afterwards, spending an hour with us going over the findings). It was thanks to his survey that our house purchase ultimately fell through but I'm grateful for it as we could have ended up with a lemon with no planning permission or building regulations certification.I would be happy to use Abode again and I intend to in the near future, thanks again.

Alan and Jo made the whole process of getting a survey on a flat for my mum extremely easy. Very fast replies to any questions I had and they arranged everything with the agent. The report itself was invaluable - very thorough and highlighted exactly what needed to be done to bring the flat up to scratch, saving us from some really unpleasant surprises. Very highly recommended and we are happy to be using them again for our own house move.

Due to concerns about a purchase I needed to find a surveyor who could act quite promptly due to time pressures in NCL. I liaised with both Alan and Jo who got back to me quickly. Alan went out within days and was able to provide me with a very detailed overview via telephone the same day. He spent nearly 4 hours at the property as it was quite a complex situation at the house. Late on a friday he also emailed me a summary pending his report which was above and beyond what I could have expected. On the back of his findings we actually decided to withdraw from the sale as it would have ended in disaster down the line. I'm so glad I landed on Abode and will certainly be using them again in future before purchasing a property. I went with Abode due to their reviews and so glad I did.
