Croft Farm & Celtic Cottages

Absolutely brilliant time away celebrating my father-in-law's 70th birthday which coincided with the King's Coronation (hence the patriotic regalia in one of the photos!) Other cottages were also booked so that family from far away could also come and stay. A beautiful location, the cottages were gorgeous with everything you need. Very clean, and the addition of a hot tub and communal pool were an added bonus.In the morning children (and adults!) can feed the farm animals, there are sheep, chickens, goats, pigs and donkeys to give breakfast to. There are hutches with guinea pigs that kids can feed as well as a very well thought out play barn with various toys and activities.The site is very well maintained, the owners are really friendly and the sea is very near (nearest beach about 9 mins drive/4 miles along twisty lanes.) The site is easy to find being next to the main road, but the cottages are well insulated with double glazing and a large hedge so the main road was never a problem in terms of noise.I totally recommend this place, you won't be disappointed! Would have loved to have stayed longer!

FANTASTIC holiday! We took our 3 and 5 year olds and all had the best time here. Animal feeding and swimming in the pool everyday, with the indoor and outdoor play facilities, the weather doesn't matter and if you don't want to go anywhere, there's more than enough to stay entertained on site. We visited a nearby beach and stone circle and felt spoilt for choice with the surrounding countryside. Lovely family, beautiful place, highly recommend!

The accommodation was stunning. Although we couldn't use the indoor pool because of lockdown, we really enjoyed the hot tub. The owners are lovely, friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit nearby. We loved feeding the animals onsite too. We have already started planning to book here again!

Croft cottages was fabulous for our family. Great facilities, beautiful location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Croft farm with our two young daughters.Despite the indoor facilities being closed due to COVD restrictions, Andy went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable with animal feeding and petting whilst keeping everyone safe. He has such a great way with children. Once the children were asleep, we then really enjoyed our evenings with the BBQ and hot tub.Croft farm is ideally located in beautiful countryside close to the coast for days at the beach and boat trips.We'll definitely recommend a trip to all of our friends!

A wonderful place to spend some time.I've just returned from our week-long holiday at Croft Farm. There were three generations of us staying in Talar Aur and we all had a truly brilliant week.The location is excellent - seemingly in the middle of nowhere for peace and quiet, yet only a few minutes drive from Cardigan Town centre and supermarkets to stock your kitchen cupboards up from. Within half an hour (and often 15 minutes) you can reach many brilliant sites and beaches and keep busy constantly admiring the jaw-dropping scenery.We were lucky with the weather for October but it would have been nearly as much fun even if grey and soggy all week.My two year old daughter was obsessed with the guinea pigs and donkeys!It's so great that places like this exist and have survived the COVID pandemic. Many precautions are still being taken and we all felt safe around the site, be it feeding the animals, playing in the games barn or swimming in the pool.

We had an amazing time and it was so relaxing, it was just a shame we couldn't have stayed longer.Our son (aged 3) loved getting up each morning and feeding the animals and we were even able to bring the dog along to help feed them too. The cottage we stayed in was lovely, clean and had all the amenities we needed.There was a big well stocked play barn for our son too, with everything in from custom built wood shops and cafes to ride on tractors and even air hockey; the swimming pool was great too.Andy and Mal were both fantastic, nothing was ever too much trouble; it was a genuine pleasure to chat to both of them each morning and whilst we were only there for 6 days by the end it felt like we were old friends.I can't speak highly enough of place and of the people we had the pleasure of meeting there. Certainly for us the relaxed atmosphere Andy and everyone created made our holiday extremely enjoyable.I can say without a doubt that we will be back and if you are looking for a relaxing getaway with or without the kids Croft Farm needs to be high on your list.

My wife, son and I absolutely loved our stay at Croft Farm and the Granary cottage.Sylvie and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The whole place is immaculately clean and very well-appointed. Everything worked as it should throughout the facility; the pool is clean (not over-chlorinated for the little ones) and a perfect temperature, and the sauna was a nice addition.The freedom of access to everything and implied trust with the guests is welcome. My son absolutely loved the soft play area and big play barn, which has some lovely touches like the individual play 'buildings' (the shop, garage, etc). There is a lot for the adults to do as well, such as the air hockey, table football, pool table, etc.The Granary, as mentioned for the overall facility, is again very well-appointed; the kitchen has everything you need to cook (including sharp knives - a rarity!), pots, pans, crockery, etc, and a very efficient (and clean) oven. The beds and bed linen are super comfy and the heating is setup such that is pre-programmed with individual controls for the radiators and a manual override for when it's not on - very handy. The internet is also very good.Our one piece of feedback would be to make the open porch area closed-off so that you can store coats, wellies, etc, as we had to stack these behind the sofa due to the weather (we couldn't store it outside as storm Brendan was in full flow!)It is without a shadow of a doubt that we will be returning in the near future, and for longer this time!

Wonderful long weekend, lodges highly recommended . Possibly the best self-catering we have stayed in and we have stayed in lots of places over the years.

Very nice cottages and great services (kids play, animals, pool, lovely garden, ...). Friendly and helpful staff. Shops easy reachable within minutes in Cardigan. One star deduction for the proximity to the road - cars quite loud in the garden.
