Leythorne Honeybee Farm

I had a wonderful first experience with the Farm! Sam and Colin are lovely and friendly people who seem to care a great deal about the quality of their products. Cannot recommend them enough. The honey and eggs I bought were sublime, I am definitely coming back for more!

Bumble Bees, Bumble Bees and yet more Bumble Bees.To say Colin and Sam are the modern day Tarzan and Jane is hardly a stretch of the imagination. They are certainly the saviour of Bumble Bees and indeed of all Bees.It is an absolute pleasure to share their company and the 100% commitment they apply to the conservancy and ethical practice of the collection and rehoming of Bees is I’m quite certain, second to none.I am extremely fortunate to have shared the wonder of their approach and absolutely applaud their kind and gentle but stalwart approach.Not one, not two but three Bumble Bee nests that were along a continuous length of cladding on a building awaiting refurbishment. There was absolutely nothing we could do and when we were blessed with the integrity and method that Colin and Sam brought we knew the Bees lives and safety were in the right hands.They were, bless their beautiful hearts, on site from 10.15 am until 10.45 pm and would not leave until the very last of the Bees from each of the Colonies was accounted for.We as a team were responsible for saving over 1000 Bumble Bees on that day and we held our heads up very high because there was absolutely no need whatsoever for Pest Control.I thank them, my operatives thank them and possibly most importantly the Bumble Bees thank them.Long may they continue their incredible and heartfelt service.As an aside, they also sell amazing Honey Comb and Honey too…… the Honey Comb is especially delicious.Thank you so much Colin and Sam for being exactly who you are !

Lovely local honey, you can truly taste the difference compared to supermarket bought honey. You even see the bee hives when you drive in. And don’t be put off when driving in; it looks like someone’s house, but the Farm Shop is there.Yet to try other products and Interested in getting the bees wax candles as presents.

The visit here will be worth your weight in liquid gold! I guarantee you!We're on our journey to buy local, shop local and support the community. We found Leythorne Honeybee Farm and had to pay them a visit. I'm so glad we did! You won't get the same experience from your local supermarket.We will be back!

Visited today and bought a jar of honey and honey comb. Lovely people who spent time telling us about the hives and bee keeping, very interesting. Great customer service and amazing tasting honey. Would deffinately recommend and will be returning soon yo make more purchases.

Found this quirky little place online that sold Raw Honey,Fresh eggs as well yummy.Honey is divine, lovely couple, and Margaret I think very nice served me, had a great chat about honey bees very interesting, will be going back for more honey and eggs .Lady in Shed lol

A wonderful couple of people who have created a haven of nature and honey. So glad we stopped by and can't wait to try the honey!!!!

Whenever I visit the UK from America I like to bring back some honey, as I find English honey is far superior in tea than honey available in the US. Leythorne Farm did not disappoint! I bought two jars from them last week, and am now sitting in my flat in San Francisco enjoying a lovely cuppa with their comb honey in it. Just delicious. If you're in the Chichester area, I recommend stopping by Leythorne Honey Bee Farm.

Sam and Colin were fantastic , I called them about a swarm of bees landed in our front garden, 7 pm in the evening , they came out with out delay, set to work and carefully and safely removed the bees.Lovely people to meet , so knowledgable about the bees and explained what was happening . I can’t wait to visit their farm shop and treat myself to some of the local honey they produce .Thank you so much Colin and Sam , you were fantastic .Rachel Christmas
