We have been dying to visit this wonderful place and wasnt disappointed. The setting is spectacular and so much love has gone into creating this fabulous venue by James and Charlotte.The cafe is in a huge teepee with another for sitting. The weather was fabulous and I celebrated my bithday here, they have 500 pigs and the food was all organic and super healthy. Growing up on a farm myself i know how hard it is, with virtually no time off.A beautiful garden and wonderful lavendar, you will not be disappointed. Well done to you both, just two miles from the beautiful town of Sherborne.

Lovely setting and nice food, but I don’t think I would go back due to the way the front of house (the owner) speaks to his staff. It was a fairly busy Saturday morning but the one waitress they had on appeared to be doing a great job and was very friendly and helpful, but every request the owner made of her was very blunt and at times abrasive, if there was a performance issue then fine but at least be polite about it! Really not nice to see.

Amazing little gem! Right in amongst rolling hills with panoramic views, on a working farm. Plenty of space, lovely herb/ lavender garden, tasty homemade cakes, tea coffee and porky treats all served up in a huge tippee. Not been open long but when word gets out I guarantee this won't be a secret for long.

I recently visited The Story Pig for their pizza night. And I can tell you it's the best homemade pizza I have ever eaten! With a good variety of pizza to choose from with quality produce! The staff and owners were amicable, making you feel welcome! Their cafe is also fantastic, with homemade cakes and many other things to eat!But what sets the Story Pig apart is their beautiful free-range farm, with a lovely garden and the most gorgeous view!Me and my girlfriend will come back often!

Hands down the best burger I have ever had and it was pork and apple! Lovely gem of a place, a Tamworth pig and lavender farm and cafe, with amazing views and a gorgeous garden. Coffee and lavender shortbread were delicious too. Thank you!

Fantastic yummy pizzas with locally-sourced produce. Good variety with unique flavours! Overpriced somewhat at £15/medium-sized pizza. Lovely scenery! Great location with beautiful views of the countryside. I would not visit again though as was greeted firstly by the owners telling us to move our car (no sign saying no parking where we were initially), then again asking why we didn’t book (doesn’t say to on the website!) and then we were told off because our dogs barked a bit initially with excitement. Customer service was lacking so I would not return. From the reviews, it would appear this is a recurring issue as well.

First visit, and will most definitely be back. Friendly welcome, delicious food, especially as I eat GF. Wonderful views, great atmosphere. A hard climb up by bike though, yet well worth it!

Bit of a mixed review as the setting is beautiful and the farm is lovely to walk around. The food however is a bit expensive when compared to other farm shop/cafe hybrids in the area. The hot offering was a breakfast roll (see picture) and considering the £8 price tag I guess I expected more than what I was presented with. The cakes and coffee however were very pleasant and coupled with the view was a nice experience.
