Tapi Carpets & Floors

I was worried at first, as I'd heard some bad reviews. The sales guy was lovely, the carpet arrived on time and the fitters did a wonderful job. I was very pleased.

Would like to thank the carpet fitters for doing a great job laying our carpets in the living room and hall. Very friendly and no mess was left. Would certainly recommend Tapi carpets and flooring. Top job guys.

Had several carpets from tapis now. The showroom is very welcoming and homely. There is a very good variety of carpets and flooring to choose from and the staff are very welcoming. From the sales staff to the manager the place never fails to provide the service you need and everyone goes the extra mile.From thinking about getting new flooring to it being fitted every step is 5 star every time and I recommend to everyone time and time again wouldn’t shop anywhere else. I was in Homebase and noticed there was a Tapi flooring. I had a quick look about and was helped by Lee. I told Lee I didn't come in for a carpet but this didn't bother him, he answered questions I had and even offered refreshments. I didn't buy any carpet as I wont be ready until next year but I want to leave a review about the excellent service I got while I was in the store. I will definitely be back.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!My partner bought LVT flooring from Tapi in Dunfermline and when we went to collect it from Kirkcaldy it was much much thinner than expected. It was not made clear at the time that the display was mounted on 8mm backing board. We asked to cancel and were advised that it would be sent to area manager for refund. As we needed to fit the floor that day, we went next door and bought flooring from B&Q. Half way through fitting the new floor, we received a call from the regional manager for Scotland. He told us we couldn't cancel and that it would be classed as a return". In the terms on the back of the sales sheet that you don't receive until after the sale is complete

EDIT: After attempting to contact Tapi as they requested below, I have still not received Any shape nor form of reply - two weeks later. I wish I'd never gone hereGo Anywhere Else.After an exhausting move into a house with no carpets or flooring we dragged ourselves into the first carpet store we found. The sales assistant that approached us did not really listen to us and was INCREDIBLY pushy pushy pushy to BUY SOMETHING MAKE A DECISION NOW - when we had Barely even had a chance to look around.Eventually found flooring and carpets that would work and agreed to have the assessor come take measurements. We were priced up at £2,000 for a 2 bed house, carpet/vinyl with underlay.We had a date set and, because we were still trying to unpack, had to organise two separate days for the fitters (PR Carpet Fitters) to do the house.On the day. They brought the wrong area's flooring. Meaning we had to shift an ENTIRE kitchen (and living rooms worth)of boxes and furniture and white goods out Back into a room that had already been cleared(Despite both of us still physically and mentally exhausted already from the move). Evidently done by apprentices that were under instruction and hardly more than a year later the vinyl has started lifting and bubbling and the carpet is lifting around the edges in many rooms!!!Even worse, later we found out that ALL of the carpet - ALL Throughout the house(even, maybe Especially in carpeted closets we never really opened) we kept finding these horrible, disgusting little carpet worms and beetles - hundreds upon hundreds of them!! And little new ones evidently breeding in the carpet and flooring!!This is absolutely Horrific quality and I cannot Ever recommend Tapi Carpets to Anyone ever again!!! Don't waste your money go find a decent quality carpet sales company
