Myra's Kaiseki
Visited here on Friday and we were offered the choice of sitting inside or on the terrace, we chose the latter but it was just two tables at the back, we had to squeeze past a parked car and were sat next to the open kitchen window, could hear the chef yelling at waiting staff for most of the meal, the server was very polite and informative but a little slow, took so long to return with dipping sauce that we had finished our food and we we're not offered napkins at any point, had to take paper towels from the ladies toilet which didn't have a locking door. The food was nice however very over priced for what it is, also we had the owners cat sat at the table which as an animal lover I enjoyed however he then entered the kitchen which was quite off-putting, as much as I love cats, they don't belong in a restaurant kitchen!

Exquisite! Very personalised service, I haven't found at any other eatery. Beautifully presented & delicious food.Large range of Sake, cocktails, wines & mocktails.Sushi, crab & tempura starters. Mains including Raman, noodles, rice, seafood, meat & vegetarian dishes. The desserts are just divine. Fairly small restaurant, intimate dining but all are made very welcome. We dined here for our wedding anniversary it really is very special but you don't need a special occasion to eat here.We highly recommend.

We came here for our wedding anniversary and had a great experience. Great food, attentive service, good atmosphere. On a wet and windy summer’s evening, it was doing a busy trade which shows the deserved reputation of the restaurant

Visited for a birthday, delicious food (we recommend the duck or salmon main, see photos). Pricey, but if you can shallow it, definitely worth the experience. Lovely server who gave the good lady a rose for her birthday as we left. I best watch out!

Always wanted to visit and we weren't disappointed. The food was great - had the taste menu, great selection. The chicken skewer was a little dry for me but edible.Sadly I froze as I sat next to the door.

Had a very nice dining experience here, food and service were good. It is a little on the pricey side, we paid £110 for two people. Would particularly recommend the ramune fizzy drinks and the matcha and pistachio dessert.

Food was sensational and service was perfect. From the second we walked in the service was tailored to us. Family run business couldn’t get any better. Only went into the restaurant as we were passing in the area- best food we’ve had in a long time! Hidden gem.

Spent a wonderful Saturday evening at Myra's. This was our first visit to a Japanese restaurant in 35 years and it led me to ask why we had left it so long. We decided to have the tasting menu and were delighted. The food is delicious- Myra delivers fantastic flavours dish after dish, and this is backed up by wonderful service from her son and husband. It feels like a true family event and you can see the care reflected in everything they do.Myra's is at the upper price bracket so don't expect a budget night out- but it is worth every penny.

Our first meal at Myra's last night. Fabulous dinner, good service and a lovely atmosphere. The sharing starter was a triumph and the desserts divine. Great to have a bottle of Langham Estate wine to accompany and I'm told the cocktail was exceptional. I cannot recommend enough and look forward to returning again soon.
