I have used their services in the past and they always send the cleaners on time. I had to rearrange the services many a times and they were very flexible. I was reminded about every week bookings which was really great. Highly recommended

Want relentless phone calls even though you asked for email correspondence only initially and then blocked each number said you would email back IF you could proceed with the job you may need doing? Proud Maid are the ones. They might do great work but I'll never know because they've hounded me now and I'm in a unique situation where I have to consult multiple people before undertaking work as its a sensitive time for my family and the property that needed work. If someone explains this and you still call and call and call on multiple numbers, it's not a good look.

I’m normally someone who writes bad reviews but I asked the cleaner to leave as he was making the flat worse. He arrived two hours late after not turning up the first time. The company kept saying they were sending the refund but never did. All calls come through from India eventhough the website says it’s a local company. I never got a refund, I really wouldn’t recommend this company.

EDIT: Since posting this review 6 months ago, I’ve received a number of calls from Proud Maid asking if I still need a cleaner, and also referring to me as Charlotte. I asked that they remove my details from their system. Then, this morning, I had a missed call and message from someone saying they’re from Proud Maid and in front of my house! (I checked outside - nobody was there.) I replied to say they have the wrong number, and then received a call from Proud Maid saying “Good morning Charlotte…” I didn’t let her finish - I demanded that she remove my details immediately, lest I report them for breach of GDPR. Do not sign up with these clowns - they’ll retain and use your contact details even when you request otherwise.Original review…Unprofessional and unreliable. Avoid at all costs!Our first clean was booked for during the snow, and I received a call from Vicky a few minutes before our time slot to say the cleaner was having travel difficulties and couldn’t come until the afternoon. When the afternoon came, the cleaner called to say he would be an hour late. Over an hour passed and I messaged to ask if he was having trouble finding the place. He arrived about 20mins after this. The clean was generally ok, although he didn’t move any kitchen appliances, so there were crumbs under the toaster and he didn’t dust any shelves. I made a mental note to remind him of these things next time.For the second clean, I had a hospital appointment in the afternoon and contacted Vicky at the office the week before to ask that Essa (the cleaner) arrive promptly at 9am. He confirmed that he would. On the day, Essa called just after 9 to say that he would arrive at 10 because he’d been working at the hospital. I told him not to bother coming because I needed to leave the house at 12. When I emailed Vicky requesting a more reliable cleaner, he rescheduled for later that week. I asked for the name of the cleaner, and it turned out he was sending me the same person. I refused and asked for someone different. Another cleaner was allocated for the following week. I emailed twice to ask what time he/she would arrive, but only found out that it would be between 9 and 10am when I received the reminder email the day before. At 9:20am, I received a call to say the cleaner is sick and won’t be coming, so can we reschedule for the following week? I said no, and started to state my reason but she cut me off with a generic “sorry for the inconvenience.” I’m guessing it’s something she says often in her role.Over an hour after this call, I received a call from a man who said he’s from Proud Maid, that he just received a text and he’s on his way but will be late. I told him that the clean was cancelled over an hour ago.Proud Maid shows complete disregard for people’s schedules, and seemingly have some very unreliable staff on their books. Avoid!

Cleaning quality was fine; however, they sometimes take payment for services that haven't been delivered and then it's a hassle to try and get refunded.More context: had a regular weekly cleaning scheduled (two hours once per week). One time, our cleaner asked if they could leave after one hour because they had other things to do. No problem for us, except that the company took the full payment the next day.We called to ask for a refund of the overpayment. They said they would only charge for one hour on our next scheduled cleaning. They charged for two again. We brought it to their attention again.The next time, the cleaner didn't show up at all (fine, they called to say they had transport problems, so no problem). The company took a payment for a full two hours again.This time we cancelled all future cleanings, and I spoke to someone on the phone. They said the one hour refund was in progress, and that they would start the process for refunding the extra two hours right away. A few days later, we did indeed receive a refund for the two hours, but the one hour overpayment has still not been refunded.Overall: work quality was fine, but more of a hassle dealing with billing than it's worth.

Can never get through to them. Their answer machine service doesn’t work, they say they’ll call you back in 7 minutes and they never actually return your call at all. They booked an appointment in for a guy to come and clean and he never turned up - no communication and still haven’t received my refund, months and months later. DO NOT USE

I am afraid I cannot give this review more than one star at this moment in time, as there is no consistency with the quality of work. Plus, they don’t answer the phone a lot of the time. They are not good at listening to what you are saying either.I would not recommend this company.

They tried to pocket an extra service charge by ignoring my request to refund the charge for a cleaning that did not happen.Management also deceives the cleaners by telling them to visit even when I have asked to cancel because I wouldn't be in.Cleaners are incompetent, they don't know what to use to clean grease or to clean the bathroom scale. They need to be told what to do because otherwise they kill time and ignore parts that they could clean.
