The shop may be small, but it’s very well stocked with a good selection of products that have been thoughtfully curated. Had everything I needed when I went in, and I’ll definitely be back. If they haven’t got what you’re looking for, the staff are happy to try and get it for you, too. Spot on.

I’ve been to dozens of skateshops over the last 20 years. Most are too full on the shop front and overwhelming. Suboptimal have balanced their space out perfectly for the quantity of product. You can walk to cabinets and spend a good few minutes looking at what they have tucked away. The stock they have in all great stuff too. I did spend a fair bit of money with them.Its probably my favourite skate shop I’ve walked into in years. Very friendly staff, especially the chap called Chris. Will definitely visit again.I’ve been on their website, it’s very user friendly & regularly updated so take a peek!(Also the tattooist called Hezz who shares the shop is a brilliant artist & I would highly recommended)
