Visited on 21.5.23 and was so impressed by the unmown areas of the grounds - the wild flowers were absolutely stunning. Well done National Trust.

We had a lovely time on a beautiful autumn day taking advantage of the National Trusts free visit. The grounds are beautiful with lots of lovely walks through woodland and parkland. The house itself is interesting but not vast and the upstairs area was set up as a fashion through the ages display. Our granddaughter was entertained by finding the mouse hidden in each room. The cafe was extremely busy with very limited seating and not a large choice of food but what we had was ok.We enjoyed our visit but there are other NT properties that I've enjoyed more.

Killerton House is absolutely beautiful with incredible gardens, plenty of lovely walks and a lovely cafe, I would highly recommend going here to anyone. Also during the time I was there I ended up having a medical emergency which my daughter informed a member of staff and literally within a couple of minutes I had 2 first aiders Tim and Daisy with me who were absolutely fantastic. I honestly cannot express enough what amazing people they were, they handled everything with care, compassion and were very professional, they made me feel that I was in very safe hands and they looked after me so well until the paramedics arrived to take over.I truly cannot thank them enough, so thank you Tim and Daisy for going above and beyond on Saturday to make me feel safe and cared for. You are both amazing.

Beautiful place, lots to see and a couple of cafe's for refreshments. Lovely volunteers, really helpful and knowledgeable. Lots for children to do outside, family and dog friendly.

We were lucky to have an exceptionally warm and sunny October day for our visit. The grounds are beautiful - long distance views across the Exe vale. The house is interesting, surprisingly homely. Tree lovers will enjoy the range of planting and mature, lovely trees of all kinds. Lovely garden. We intend to return for a longer visit as the estate really invites walking. Warning - if approaching via Broadclyst, watch for the sneaky 20mph limit in the village Centre.

When we arrived, the car park was very full, but due to the place being very open with plenty of areas to walk we hardly saw many people. We liked that there were many places to sit and watch the world go by, and the gardens were very well looked after, and there were information boards of the various plants. They also had a lot of activities going on for people with children

Lovely place to visit. Stunning landscape with beautiful views of afar. Good variety of large old trees. Great place for a walk around the land. The formal garden is small but has a stunning selection of colourful flowers. The house was nice. The ground floor was traditional National Trust House with some beautiful architecture. The first floor was more a display of clothes. It was lovely to hear the musical instruments being played in the music room. Was ideal for taking the pushchair around with reasonable paths for an off-road chair.Overall, it is a highly recommended day out.

Very nice medium sized house, very homely, with beautiful dining room. Nice easy walk around the garden with the option of a much longer walk around the greater grounds. Lovely chapel currently being restored as of 2023. Very friendly volunteers as usual.
