Halfords Autocentre Warwick

Absolute sham of a place, dropped car off and it came out even worst, front office staff blamed the age of my car. On website it says it’s open in Sundays but it is not. Emailed Head Office to complain about the service but never got any feedback. Avoid like the plague.

We visited this garage at 11 am this morning for free break check . What an experience! We had it booked for 11.30 am. At 1p.m the car was still not looked at. The findings which Ali ( technician who is leaving at the end of this month Nov.2023 ) were shocking / a bit exaggerated and not true. When I asked for the print out of his findings , the receptionist male (a polite lad) could not do it. We left Halfords garage at 1.45p.m with a big headache and we will never be back. We had huge oil marks on the bonnet of the car spread everywhere. I am absolutely shocked that Halfords as a company can legally operate like this in the UK and make profit. I wished I never let them touch our car as this technician who is soon leaving was coming out with stories like We have an oil leak ( no signs on the dash board) no oil leak underneath the car..the only oil marks ..were his oily hands touching our bonnet ( AS our interior is black maybe it was everywhere) Awful. Just avoid. The standard of service like we received in this garage would never be aloud to reach such low in the EU. At 3.30pm the receptionist was supposed to email us the quotes for proposed work....but instead we received an email saying our break check appointment was cancelled. We had been and gone!!!! Absolutely incredibly bad experience. We will not give Halfords another chance..even if they were the last garage on this earth. Thank you Halfords for pushing us looking elsewhere. We do not wish for your technicians with oily hands touching our car ever again. We wish you all the best.

Booked car in via website for tyre change and wheel alignment, dropped my car off at the specified time and returned 2 hours later. They hadn't changed the tyres as they didn't have any in stock.I was told they would ring me on the Monday/Tuesday to rearrange once the tyres are in and they didn't, so I rang on the Wednesday.I've always used Halfords as they were a reputable company and had to deliver to high standards, that's why they're a little more expensive. But over the last few years the company has gone downhill. They understaff their stores and their subcontractors don't deliver. After this tyre change, I will look to use a different company.

There were a few issues with my booking, for a 10 point check but the 2 people on reception sorted it with no problem. The young person in particular (wish I had got his name) was so polite and kind, and he was very professional. When he took me through the recommendations he was very sincere giving me confidence that my car was almost ready for the long journey ahead. Thank you!

Warning light came on my 2017 ford focus estate and car went into ‘limp’ mode. I need my car for work so went online and found Halfords had a slot the following morning!I arrived at 08:15, Kieron in reception was friendly and welcoming and the place was clean and tidy. I explained about needing my car for work and he said they’d do their best to get onto it first thing(from experience garages often say this but usually when I phone late in the afternoon to see how it’s going it’s not even on the ramp!).I received a phone call at 12noon to say the car was ready. When I arrived I spoke to Will who shook my hand and took a couple of minutes to chat(again a really friendly and professional guy)The price that was quoted online was not only fair but accurate AND if you book & pay online they accept PayPal so I got 4 months 0% to pay for it. Brilliant service Halfords Warwick, thank you guys

(Most Inexperts)Very low & cheap level of attitude to deal with customers from the receptionist (owner). They’v charged me for the service but never done anything and told me to look for another garage. Pathetic! I wish I cloud give zero star ! As when I arrived there, they told me to park in lidl not here. Which is right on opposite of the main road. As cause they’ have no space here ‘ Lmao ! Which is completely not acceptable how would you feel if someone is parking at your site without your permission? Which is something illegal to do so! I highly recommend you not to book them for your cars you’ll end up spending more money somehwere as they are completely useless like an flat tyre

Took my car in for a tyre check, rear tyre pressure kept going down, they did not find anything wrong with it. Took to a local garage as this didn't make sense and they showed me a small nail in the tyre!Can't believe Halfords missed this

I had a tyre fitting booked here , unfortunately i punctured my tyre before my fitting date and was due to go on a long journey the next day.Kieron was extremely helpful and managed to fit my tyres within the hour on extremely short notice. Fantastic customer service.
