Boyd is an outstanding garden designer. He transformed our overgrown and unused vegetable patch into a drinks area complete with relaxed seating, a gin bar, and a rill.Going through the design process was a joy and Boyd had some amazing ideas about how we could use the space to meet our objectives. He also made sure that the design complemented the other areas of our garden.Boyd worked collaboratively with the landscapers to make sure that the finished product stayed true to the design. Boyd then went plant and pot shopping with my husband and they planted up together, with Boyd offering lots of helpful advice about care and maintenance of the plants.We are absolutely thrilled with our drinks area and would not change a thing. It has totally surpassed our expectations and we would 100% recommend Boyd.

I needed to completely redesign my garden and already had lots of ideas but some problem areas that I was unsure what to do with. Boyd took his time to get to know what I liked and also what I wanted from the garden. The garden design evolved over a couple of meetings and several phone and email conversations. At no time did I feel rushed or pressured and Boyd was happy to take as long as required to get the design I was happy with. As I know about plants Boyd was happy to just provide a plan for the hard landscaping, with the option for help with planting, if required, after the landscaping is complete. I'd struggled to find a designer on my wavelength before meeting Boyd but now my garden project is finally becoming a reality.

We have used Plan B twice now for major garden redesign as we moved homes. We particularly love that Boyd works hard to establish exactly what you want your space to feel like, to be used for, that meets your lifestyle and commitment to maintenance rather than just design something for a space. He is incredibly knowledgeable and teaches us as we design and develop our garden together. We loved our first Plan B garden and it certainly helped sell our house as was remarked upon by all who saw it. Now we are on the journey to create a brand new garden in our forever home.
