Well stocked convenience store with in store bakery, post office and free ATM. The Post Office which is open all the hours the shop is can come in very handy- just leave anything complicated for during the day! Let down by the staff who can be rude and have a habit of smoking just outside the front door.

I went to get a parcel today at 17:30h and I was told the post office closed at 17:00h, despite being on the website that it runs through the opening hours of the store from 06:00h - 22:00h.

Refused to accept Vodafone veryme offer and said it was only for stores up north (?!). The one 5 mins away on Queen Street accepted it no problem. Wouldn't shop at this co-op again due to the can't be bothered attitude of the staff.

Popped in here a few times during our short holiday at Portsmouth to buy meal deals and a few snacks. On each occasion the store was clean, tidy and the staff friendly. Also a great place to get a a decent sized coffee (as well as other hot drinks) for a fair price and can pay for these at the self service checkout. Would recommend anybody staying at a nearby hotel / B&B to pop here for here for refreshments. Didn’t get the opportunity to try the vegan hot sausage rolls but they did look nice and only £1 each.

I rang this Co-op to ask whether the Bakery sausage rolls had eggs in - I have an egg food allergy. The staff refused to check and kept repeating that it will have eggs

Not a good store at all. I phoned the store to ask about the closing times of their post office they told me it would be closing in the next hour. Just 20 minutes after this phone call I went to the store and the post office was shut. Staff were rude and no help at all, all they said was there is nothing we can do

The post office in this store closes at 5pm. I checked even the Cooperative website which states that the post office is open 0600-2300. I went to the store last evening at 5.30pm and they said we close the post office at 5pm and even do not sell stamps after 5. Really disappointing. I went back this morning and posted my letters with a great service.

I would love to say that all staff are very friendly and nice at all times. Jamie who works on the shop floor is always polite, respectful. I even put a complaint slip into head office let hope he got it. Julie at the post office is a OUTSTANDING member of staff and is there to help!!! Dose not rush you out of the door even though the busy times. If I could give more the 5 stars then i would. Please shop here.

Horrible staff, telling kids to put there bags down and they only told these black kids not the white ones. They always ask for proof that you've bought the item even though they follow u round the shop like we don't notice and stare at us while paying. Also, it takes a solid 5 minutes to have people come and serve you and let you pay. Disgracefull behaviour, need to sort it out.

I use this co op at least 4 times a week and up until 3 weeks ago have never had any problems staff always been helpful and friendly now it seems like there's been a major staff change and not for the better especially on the tills, service is slow staff seem as if they would rather be elsewhere. This morning I went in and the young lad who served me said that his till wasn't working and couldn't serve me I had to point out to him that there was another till not being used and he said he would try that one in a tone that sounded like it was a major inconvenience for him. This is a store that has the potential to be excellent and was up until a few weeks ago.
