Wonderful place. This is where I went to learn sewing. Such a wonderful lady Karen is. She can make a piece of material turn to a gown.

Had a fabulous time at the iow studio. Did a course on how to make a bra. All materials were all included and the studio is located in a beautiful location. Karen is a very good tutor and would recommend her studio.

Really great sewing machine, fabric and haberdashery shop on the Island. The range of sewing machines is excellent from affordable beginner machines to real workhorses and fantastic embroidery machines for those looking to upgrade.They offer regular workshops including beginners overlocking and all aspects of making and designing clothes.One of my favourite aspects is that you can hire their cutting tables to get your pattern and fabric cut out on a full height table, saving you a lot of back strain.There are also beautiful fabrics available, some ready in the shop and a great variety to choose from the sample books to order in. It's an old school shopping experience that adds to the fun and means you can order from a much greater variety of finer fabrics than you would if you were just limited to the stock being carried in store.Karen, the owner, has been a professional designer and seamstress for many years having made costumes for West End shows and Hollywood Films and for the past 14 years her own bridal line. There's no question you ask about sewing and fabric that she can't help with. Kim works in the shop while Karen is teaching and working on bridal work and will set you up so you try out all the different machines. It's best to bring some fabric from your current project to see how it behaves in each one.

Really enjoyable overlocker workshop; learning in a relaxed friendly environment.

I could not fault the service from Karen and her sewing machine servicing I left my late mothers machine to be serviced, I had great contact from John and a check list of work undertaken, by the following week it’s returned as good as new can’t fault the service or the care and support.
