Nursing home in stockport used this company for the first time and the experience was 1st glass. They were on time as planned and very profession providing dignity to the deceased. Well done S.P. Astley I will be recommending you in the future.

This company dealt with my mums funeral and on the day everything was great. There was a guy called Neil there that sorted everything out and made it run smoothly! After that it has been nothing but a disaster. I buried my mum in February and still now in November the discription that I gave to the funeral parlour is not on her grave and the grave was put back on over 4 month ago! I have chased and chased this situation constantly waiting for people to call me back and it's caused nothing but stress! The excuse I received was that the company changed hands as one of the partners left the company and no details was handed over. That doesn't explain the last 6 month of me chasing thus up. I have am now in the process of going down the road of having it done myself. I would defiantly not recommend this company for good aftercare!

Our experience with Astleys in Denton was excellent from the minute I phoned them when my mum passed away the guys who came to collect my mum to take her to the funeral home were compassionate and professional.We then were looked after by Yvonne who was so helpful, kind and understanding and helped us organise the funeral she was always on the end of the phone and nothing was too much trouble.I would recommend Astleys to anyone who has lost a loved one and will always remember their kindness.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Kristin, Michael and everyone at S.P. Astley for your help, compassion and care shown to me and my family with the recent passing of my lovely mum Mary. From the very first phone call to the after-care after mums funeral service was excellent. I cannot recommend S.P. Astley highly enough. Thank you for looking after my Mum, Joan and dealing with the arrangements so smoothly and efficiently. All friends and relatives said the funeral was very personal and they all learned something new about my Mum. Handing over arrangements to someone else is always difficult as you feel you have no control over the event but Louise, Viv, and Michael kept us updated at all times.

Compassion,Empathy and helpful.Louise was very good in advising and arranging us seeing my wife Sheila in the chapel of rest,also keeping informing me each step of the procedure .Lisa Taylor was excellent, and devoted in providing an 1st class perfect ceremony, which did meat my criteria for Sheila , as Our love, friendship and partnership were the best thing we had over our 60 years together and our memories .5 star Service from Lisa and she should be proud as I was, in giving Sheila a prefect send off.
