Gotta say it the way it is… we took in a dress to be shortened on Tuesday morning we told them we desperately needed it doing for Friday lunch time as we’re travelling away for a wedding,they said we’re very busy but should get it done for you.I called at 10am on the morning we were travelling and I was told it would be Monday as the lady doing it isn’t well!After telling of my utter disappointment I got a call a few minutes later saying. Ok we will get it done!We didn’t check it until we arrived at our destination, to be honest my Grandaughter could have made a better job. The hem is all over the place and one side where the seam meets is 1/4” out of line. Very poor.

I have had a couple of items of clothing altered here, and they have all fit perfectly afterwards! Highly recommend for anyone needing some adjustments done to their clothing :)

Hardly ever open - three part days a week! Took my skirt with a broken zip - went to collect it on the agreed day and was told to come back two days later. New zip broke after two weeks. Went to take it back (on a Friday), only to find a note on the door - closed, sorry for any inconvenience. Won't be using them again - it's too difficult!

A zip in a lined and fitted summer dress had split, and as I still love the dress I took it to Yvonne for a replacement. She matched the coloured zip perfectly...not that you can see the zip because it’s beautifully inserted and concealed. I was pleased with the alteration as well as the price.My experience was so positive that my daughter-in-law-to-be has had her wedding dress taken up and altered by Yvonne too.

10/10 quality and service. Had my wedding dress and 4 bridesmaids dresses all altered here one needed big alterations and wasn't fitting but was altered perfectly. Flawlessly done amazing work for such a great price.

Very poor service asked for a hem to be adjusted on a prom dress it came back very shoddy, it was crookly stitched twice with missed stitches and was cut unevenly not very professionally done. An expensive dress ruined ! My daughter was very heartbroken and upset. It was that bad they refunded the cost of the dress. I wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend

I took in an expensive leather jacket that was a birthday present. The jacket had been torn at the shoulder and I was really worried it'd be ruined. A week later I got the jacket back. It's fixed perfectly. You wouldn't even know it had been damaged. And it cost just £12. So happy. Thank you very much.

Great place to get all alterations.Just shame not open on Saturday for us folks who work. But understand small staff numbers.

My wife had some sleeves altered on a jacket and a dress shortened, superb job on both items. Lovely friendly seamstress, very friendly, great service, definitely recommend.
