Weddings at Blackthorpe Barn
I have not attended a wedding here but I have visited the Christmas market here a couple of years in a row. The stalls are the same every year and the food is overpriced in the cafe. Some of the crafts are very good though. Worth visiting once but not year after year.

Went along to there xmas craft fair and Christmas shops. Well worth a look, plenty to see and buy. Cafe open but we didn't go in as tried the outdoor vendors

Awards to the cafe who have the ability to magic up deliveries on a Sunday. The staff some how managed to also magic up their eyes sight after my order as there appeared to be no scotch eggs when we ordered.As a table they clearly favoured arrived.....alas did the scotch eggs.When questioning the manager" who seems to be as successful as anyone in charge of Watford

Weddings at Blackthorpe Barn
We got married at Blackthorpe Barn just over a month ago. The barn is beautiful, the perfect backdrop to what was a truly magical day. From start to finish the organisation was exemplary. A special mention must go to Claire, events manager. Claire was amazing, we felt supported and guided by her through the whole process, just cannot praise her enough. All the staff were amazing and the food was fantastic. We stayed in the house which was also wonderful, fantastic building and the breakfasts were superb!Thank you everyone at Blackthorpe Barn.

Weddings at Blackthorpe Barn
We love the Christmas shop, took our two grandchildren today they were so excited, after browsing the shop we then decided a hot chocolate would be in order to finish the visit. Nice lady saw us to the table the children wanted hot chocolate no hot chocolate" the waitress said. Ok can we have milkshakes please " no milkshakes" . Very disappointed grandchildren !"

Superb place tastefully and expertly enlarged & refurbished. The Christmas shop has countless decorations and gifts, all high quality and natural materials with no plastic.Food hall was busy but plenty of outside stalls to get coffee, pastries etc. Top marks and well worth a visit.

The wedding was a really wonderful event the Bride and groom look so happy. The venue and the food was very very good and the staff we on the ball from beginning to the end all in all a wonderful day.
