I recently used barwick roofing for my re roof required on a property in headingley, leeds.From initial enquiry to quote to the work carried out, Chris and his team were approachable at every aspect and nothing was too much trouble.I wouldn’t hesitate to use this firm again

Chris put a new roof on my garage four years ago and guaranteed his work with a certificate. I recently noticed a leak, and he came out the next day to assess the issue. Even though this turned out to be unrelated to his workmanship, Chris and his team quickly worked to detect the source of the problem, and to provide a solution to prevent any further issues.

A decision was made to continue using a different tile, Calderdale Rustic which would create a similar roof to Rosemaries, which were available on a short lead time in the quantity required.A wire became disconnected from a pull switch during the installation of the insulation over the West Wing of the property. This was quickly put right by an electrician.A skip arrived late holding up operations for a morning.An end stop on a gutter had not been fitted, when pointed out it was rectified the following day.Chamfering of the white chimney by a 3rd party was not done to specification, rectified by BW.What went wrong?Apart from the issues above, nothingWhat went right?The BW core team (Neil, Bradley) and others were hard working and personable. Their timekeeping was good and they were there when they said they would be. They answered my questions regarding the work to be done / being done / what has been done.Communications were good, I was kept informed of the next steps and any particular delays / out of specification work required.The scaffolders were good and articulate, in my experience that is sometimes not the case.The project came in on budget, it was of a 5 week duration, the scaffold being up for 43 days.The end result is excellent.Highly recommended.

I'm extremely pleased with all the work carried out. From first meeting with Chris I felt at ease. He put things on hold to rescue me from a disaster as I was left by other workers with an exposed roof that flooded the house every time it rained . I am extremely grateful for what he and the lad's have done they all went over and above my expectations. I would have no hesitation in using them again and would recommend to anyone. We needed some roof repair, wanted an existing Velux replaced and some new Velux installed. It was easy to get and refine the quote, when the parts arrived Chris arranged the scaffolding and then kept us up-to-date regarding the commencement date. His team were a pleasure to deal with, putting the windows exactly where we wanted and keeping tidy always. This company was recommended by a neighbour and responded with a visit soon after I made contact. Chris Arnold organised for a tile to be replaced to prevent water damage until they were available to replace the roof, which has now been completed for the quoted price.
