PureGym Grantham Discovery Retail Park

Great facility and always accessible for anyone with a disability, even far greater that the colleagues are attentive and also very knowledgeable of all the equipment and what works well for your body, it's great to see such passion in this local gym even better that it's increasingly getting more popular than any other local gym around, it's great that the parking facilities are free furthermore it's so close to the entrance and even better that the changing rooms and toilets are clean/accessible.There are only a few minor points and changes that I would point out and probably many others that visit this gym also and that is, the space available in the gym when it's at its peak is very limited and feels like your playing dodgems, hopefully to see more then one cubicle toilet in the men's room which is the only disappointing factor of the toilets.

A slightly compact PureGym compared to most, but it's well kitted with new equipment. Unfortunately, only two hours parking is available with no option to extend your stay.

The staff could not be bothered to sort out issues with our membership after months. Not friendly. Would not re-join. Better gyms, with better facilities and staff who care about your gym experience in Grantham! Would not recommend.

Modern clean and friendly facility unlike Anytime Fitness Grantham and it's cheaper too.

£140 headphones went missing. I knew where I left them and told the manager this and 2 other staff members on multiple occasions asking them to check the cctv. No one ever did (or got back to me). I was also told only one person had access to the cctv (the day after I reported this). Then I was told they had just gone on a two week holiday. No wonder no one got back to me. It’s been over a month now and still no answer. Even reported it on Instagram as I was told to. Where I left them was in view of at least two different cameras. Genuinely gutted no one had bothered to keep me informed if they even looked for them at all. Someone please get back to me!

PureGym know what they are doing and they do it very well. I think that they do need to make it clear to members that parking is restricted to two hours, at the very most, otherwise a penalty is likely to be imposed. The parking lot does have signage but it is, IMO, displayed at a very high level and is easily missed if you are a ground floor type of person!

UPDATE October 2023 - Men's showers are finally all working. Changing room cleanliness is hit &miss.The gym itself can be quite overcrowded at times.
