I contacted Ami for an emergency appointment due to a severe mat between my cocker spaniels pads, that I couldn’t remove safely with scissors. Ami managed to fit him in the following day, she advised she had availability for a full groom so I took the appointment. We spoke on the phone as my dog walker dropped him to her, I advised that he loves mud and water so asked if he could be shaved down, but we agreed to leave the hair on top of his head. After being with Ami for 3 hours I received a text message to say I will be charged an extra £10 due to matted fur (which I had already asked to be shaved off)The dog walker collected my dog from the salon at 7pm, so now he had been there for 5 hours!Ami sent 2 messages to me, within 10 minutes, asking for payment before they arrive, which I found to be really unprofessional that I hadn’t even seen my dog yet I was being asked to make immediate payment of £55.He arrived home with the mat still between his pads, his legs were not shaved like I asked, the fur down his legs uneven, his paws still really fluffy, nothing removed from his tail, his ears were not clipped inside or even brushed!!After being there for 5 hours for an apparent “full groom” not much was done and the only difference I can see is uneven choppy legs.I have since contacted Ami to discuss or rectify, but I have received no response.
