New Garden

We called to place an order on the phone we asked how long the wait was between delivery and collection and gave our address when just about to place the order they hung up, so we drove to the shop and waited for a couple of minutes until they served the customer who was paying in front for their order, while waiting the 3 staff behind the counter took an additional 4 telephone orders.When I walked to the counter the woman behind then asked me to move a step to the right to place my order as the couple before were paying by cash, I moved half a step to the right and asked how long if I waited and how long for delivery? It wasn't a hard question!! I was then told that I was abusing them and they didn't need to answer me due to my abusive nature, I am a manager for a multinational company and would never abuse staff doing their jobs all I wanted was to know how long I had to wait as I could pop round to the supermarket for milk, now I have had the same treatment in this establishment 2 or 3 times and now I have felt the need to complain, food rating is quite good but customer service is appalling. I left without ordering and went to another takeaway

Ordered food for collection 2 hours previously to pick up at specific time and then when we got there it wasn't ready!!! Watched other ppl come in and order over the counter and left before we did.was kept waiting for half an hour with no explanation other than ' it can run over sometimes'.what's the point of collecting if it's not ready?

Lovely people and gorgeous food.Be prepared to wait though as they're very popular.

Food is shocking, had 4 takeaways over a few months, utter rubbish. Nothing fresh. All overcooked. No flavour. Would be nice to do authentic fresh cuisine

Pre ordered a meal here for delivery at 6.30 pm .meal arrived on time ,was hot and order complete.Not the first time I have pre ordered and couldn’t fault it .Thank you Mr Jim and staff ,always amazing food x

Had a new garden starter . I like my food cooked but prawn toast was fried to its death and the ribs well not sure told it would be a hour and a half delivery when I ordered it at 6.55 pm . Phoned as it was late . And phoned to say it was not good. !!! Not the best response !! I do not complain nor comment on things but I am so disappointed in our £27 meal and I will never use this place again

I ordered the mixed hors d’oeuvres and salt and pepper squid. They ran out of part prawn toast, the spring rolls were soggy as was the squid. The whole thing was tasteless.I will never go there again

Ordered from this place twice now and both times have been awful.Both times told the food would be delivered within the hour. 1 hour 30 minutes later we have to call to see where it is.This time round as I was placing my order the phone was put on the worktop I assume and I could very clearly two members of staff arguing, all the while I’m trying to get her attention to finish my order.While on the phone both times the staff were rude and argumentative. They were very stand off-ish and made me feel bad for asking if my food, which I had paid my money for would be much longer. Stating that by the time she had written the order down and sent it to the kitchen it wasn’t much over the hour.Incredibly rude and disrespectful to their customers. I will definitely not be ordering from here again.
